    Riding experience: The interior of the Volvo EM90 uses high - end materials but has a simple and elegant style. It doesn't use a large amount of leather and wood like Japanese luxury MPVs.     We borrowed a Volvo EM90 for a test drive. First, let's take a brief look at the exterior. This one is in Ocean Gray. I think it would be cooler in black. The front face has the traditional closed design of pure-electric vehicles. The star pattern and the logo inside can be illuminated. The lower grille uses a dynamic starry river grille. On both sides are still the classic Thor's Hammer headlights, looking very simple. The overall length of the vehicle is 5,206 millimeters, which makes it seem quite long. It's square and regular, with a wheelbase of 3,205 millimeters. The rear is also in a square style, similar to many MPVs on the market. The recognizable part is the taillights on both sides. The design gives a feeling of skyscrapers reflected on the water.

    Now let's look inside. The color scheme is very plain. A large amount of environmentally friendly materials are used, and there is no obvious odor in the new car. The seats are made of Nappa leather, with a very soft sitting feeling. They can fit the body well, giving an experience of sitting on a big sofa. There is a small LCD screen behind the steering wheel, and the center console is equipped with a very large screen. There have indeed been significant changes this time. There is a wireless phone charging panel below. The gear lever is still made of crystal, with a good feel. The audio system uses 21 Bowers & Wilkins speakers, and even the triangular area of the door beside the A-pillar is equipped with them, which shows a lot of investment.

    As a pure business vehicle, the rear row is essential. Electric sliding doors are standard. The floor height is moderate, making it very convenient to get in and out. There are two independent seats in the second row. The heating, ventilation, massage, and movement of the seats are all controlled on the consoles on both sides. There is a small built-in table on the inner side. The overall feeling is very solid. The small table is a two-piece folding type with an adjustable angle, which is convenient for placing items. In terms of width, people over 180 centimeters tall won't feel cramped sitting in it, and there is still a lot of space in the front row, making it very relaxing to sit. Since there is no middle aisle, there is a one-key folding function on the side of the second-row seats, which is very fast. You don't have to bend too much to get into the third row, and the getting-in and -out movements are also very quick.

    Now let's talk about the driving experience. The vehicle's overall range is 738 kilometers. It uses a 116-kWh ternary lithium battery and a rear-mounted rear-wheel drive motor. In terms of suspension, the combination of MacPherson struts in the front and multi-link suspension in the rear makes the overall suspension quite comfortable. Even when passing through some bumpy roads, the vehicle rebounds gently and not sharply. As an electric vehicle, the acceleration is quite fast. The brakes are on the soft side, and for a large vehicle, you need to make advance judgments. In terms of range, it ran about 400 kilometers in two days without obvious attenuation, showing relatively real performance. On city roads, the steering wheel is quite light, while on the highway, it becomes heavier. Fine steering adjustments may be a bit strenuous for female drivers. When making sharp turns, the inner side of the seat will have an electric wrapping action, which really attracts me and can bring a sense of security. Overall, it's quite good. It's comfortable to drive and sit in, and the experience is very good.

    I've had a week-long experience with the Volvo EM90. When walking towards the car with the key in hand, the lighting interaction at the front of the car is quite ceremonial. The second row inside the car is truly prestigious. The space is extremely large, and the seats are fully equipped, wide and comfortable. Moreover, the details are flawless. For example, the clock on the second-row door panel and the hidden window control buttons all convey a sense of refinement and luxury. The overall interior of the car also has a very luxurious atmosphere. The interior texture of the EM90 is quite in line with Volvo's style, being simple yet of excellent quality. And the sound effect of the B&W audio system is top-notch, which anyone who has experienced it can understand. The clarity of the second-row TV is fine, but the test drive car didn't have an internet connection at that time, so I didn't get to experience its internal functions. It doesn't support touch control, but having a remote control is very convenient. It's used in the same way as a home smart TV, so there's no difficulty in getting the hang of it. The trunk is also large enough. It's very quiet inside the car when driving. The power seems sufficient. The car is indeed quite large and heavy, and you can directly feel this when driving. The car is very stable, and the driving quality is good, giving a feeling of a well-integrated and non-loose chassis. The air suspension is very comfortable and deals with bumps quite neatly. It's just that parking this car is quite a test of one's skills.
