Review A
1. Class: The EU7 is positioned as a mid - level car. Compared with the AION S, which is a compact car, its class advantage is obvious. Based on past knowledge, higher - class cars usually have larger space and decent driving quality. As a flagship model of BAIC's vehicle lineup, I think BAIC has put some effort into quality control and overall vehicle management (it's just my opinion). Also, when visiting the display car, I found that the damping of the armrest box was quite high - end, and the materials used for the whole car were also good. The large - area leather and plastic materials have elevated the overall vehicle's texture, which made me have a good impression of the EU7.
2. Hardware: When comparing vehicle configurations, I found that the EU7 uses a multi - link rear suspension, while the AION S uses a torsion beam. Since my previous car had a torsion beam rear suspension and it was very bumpy inside the car when passing through uneven roads, I have a certain bias against torsion beams. Based on past knowledge, independent suspensions have advantages over non - independent suspensions in terms of vehicle stability and driving quality. So, as someone who values driving and riding quality, I was again impressed with the EU7 (later, I learned that suspension hardware is just one aspect, and a well - tuned torsion beam may offer a more premium driving experience than an averagely - tuned multi - link).
3. Configuration: I pay more attention to vehicle configurations. Among the three cars within my budget, the EU7 is equipped with a full - liquid - crystal dashboard with very rich display content, while the AION S and IA5 both have mechanical gauges plus small - sized LCD screens. Comparing the three cars, the configurations of the EU7 and IA5 are quite similar, but the EU7 has a full - liquid - crystal dashboard that I prefer, which is another factor that increased my favor for it.
In summary, the EU7 leads in the three aspects that I value. Although the EU7's range is relatively poor, I think the gap is not significant, which might be the reason for my final decision to buy the EU7.
Review B
¡¾Overall Impression¡¿
The car isn't big, but it has good power. Every time I'm on the road, I have to constantly remind myself not to drive too fast. When driving too fast, I can clearly feel there's some play in the steering wheel, and the car feels unstable. Safety issues still need attention.
¡¾Riding Experience¡¿
Sitting in the seat feels quite good. It's just that the legroom is a bit insufficient. There are some problems with the design. Although the overall space isn't small, my knees always tend to bump into things.
¡¾Driving Experience¡¿
Overall, it's a good family car. Electric cars are much cheaper than gasoline cars. I don't really like the sport mode in the car. After turning it on, I always feel that the steering feel of the steering wheel is deliberately made heavier and stiffer, which is not very comfortable. Also, the grip of the tires is a bit poor. It has been rainy these days, and I found that the drainage performance of the tires is just average when driving.
Review C
1. Appearance
It looks nice. I bought the white one. I think it's not as good - looking as the black one, but it's safer. It looks so cool with the double - C daytime running lights.
2. Interior
The interior is okay. The 12.3 - inch central control screen is a bit small. What's most annoying is that the interior has a very strong smell.
3. Configuration
I bought the high - end version. There are several regrets in terms of configuration:
First, there are reserved radar positions in the front of the car, but the manufacturer doesn't offer the option to install them.
Second, the Eu5 Plus is equipped with a heat - pump air conditioner, but the flagship Eu7 doesn't have one. How come?
Third, in terms of assisted driving, the 2022 version actually removed the cruise control compared with the 2019 version.
Fourth, the external 220V auxiliary power - discharge function has also been cancelled.
4. Space
The space is amazing. With a wheelbase of 2.8 meters, it's very long. A person who is 2 meters tall can also sit in it, and the roof is high (the headroom in the Feifan ER6 is too cramped). However, the width is only 1.84 meters, 4 centimeters shorter than the Aion S. But a narrower car is easier to drive and less likely to (skid sideways or collide).
5. Intelligence
The 12.3 - inch central control screen is really a bit small.
The in - car system is almost non - existent. It's barely useful.
All kinds of navigation, music, and voice - recognition systems are not easy to use and react slowly.
Moreover, they also charge for data traffic...
6. Driving experience
Power: The power ceiling is quite high, but it's not well - tuned for range. When switched to the S sports mode, the initial stage of the accelerator is still a bit soft, giving a feeling like a 1.5L engine. But when you floor the accelerator, it's very powerful, like a 2.0T engine.
Chassis: It's like the chassis of Saab, similar to the Senbao series. It's very stable. The multi - link rear suspension is much better than other trailing - arm beams at the same price.
Handling: It's just average and a bit more labor - saving.
