Review A
The interior is actually very nice, with a gray exterior and black interior. The main highlight is the wooden decorative panel on the dashboard, which looks quite premium. The brushed finish is well-done and feels very comfortable to the touch.
Space is undoubtedly the most satisfying aspect. I previously drove an Arrizo 5, and compared to it, the Arrizo 5's space is really overshadowed. Whether it's the front row, rear row, or trunk, the space performance of the Wuling Xingguang S is truly a leapfrog improvement.
It supports L2-level assisted driving, along with 360-degree panoramic view and other functions. I can use it on highways and elevated roads, and it performs very well.
There's no need to worry about the voice control of new energy vehicles. Whether in the front or rear row, the voice recognition rate and execution speed are both above average.
Energy consumption and range are really the most noticeable differences since I changed cars. Even with the air conditioning on auto mode in summer, a full charge can last about 95 kilometers. Currently, when the temperature in Shandong doesn't require air conditioning, it can basically reach 110 kilometers. Moreover, with hybrid, you really can avoid refueling if possible, but at the same time, fuel consumption when refueling is also low. At a highway speed of 120 km/h, the battery consumes about 60% of its power, with a combined fuel consumption of 4.7 liters, not to mention in the city, which is much better than my previous fuel-powered car.
Review B
Picked up the car on September 25th.
Exterior: Personally, I think the front face is okay, but the rear is a bit disappointing. The white color I chose is slightly silvery white, which I'm quite satisfied with as it's dirt-resistant. I washed it in the first week after buying it, but later when the weather got cold, I didn't wash it much. Washing it once a month doesn't make it very dirty; as long as there's no sprinkler truck, it's basically very dirt-resistant.
Interior: The seats are not particularly soft nor particularly hard; they feel just okay. After driving for a long time, you can still feel your butt hurting. The central control screen is large, and it has a column-mounted gearshift, which is convenient to use. The large screen offers a great visual experience.
Space: Space is the biggest advantage of the Xingguang S. With a wheelbase of 2800mm, the rear row is so spacious that you can even squat there. People who buy this car all value its space; stretching your legs with crossed legs is no problem. The rear seats can also be adjusted, which is great, so family members won't feel tired when sitting.
Driver assistance: Personally, I think the driver assistance is just so-so. The main issue is that the automatic emergency braking is quite sensitive (with heavy braking intervention), making daily driving on roads tiring. However, this is mainly focused on highway driver assistance.
Range and energy consumption: Currently, it's winter here, around 0°C, and I drive quite aggressively. The highest power consumption I've reached is 26 kW. The 130-kilometer range I actually get is about over 80 kilometers; in summer, I can drive 115 kilometers on pure electric mode. The fuel consumption when the battery is low is basically around 7 L/100km, and normally around 5.6 L/100km.
Other issues: The noise in HEV mode is quite loud. The radar had a problem once, and then the steering wheel was biased to the right. After two wheel alignments and three steering wheel calibrations, it still leans to the right. I'm satisfied with other aspects. The infotainment system had a problem once where the music suddenly had no sound, but it was fixed after restoring factory settings. Overall, I'm quite satisfied.
Review C
【Space Performance】
Really spacious. After comparing, it's truly spacious. Front seats with heating and ventilation. Rear seat heating is really nice. And at my height of 183cm, sitting in the back doesn't hit my head at all. The backrest angle can also be adjusted steplessly.
【Range and Energy Consumption】
I think it's pretty good. Haven't tested it specifically. The weather has been cold these past few days.
Highway fuel consumption is about 5+ liters per 100km. Didn't dare to drive too fast, basically driving at the speed limit. Started with 40% battery and still had 40% when I got home. Not sure if this is the fuel consumption when the battery is low.
【Charging Time】
It's said to have a maximum power of 29kw. Never reached that. The highest was 25kw. From 20% to full charge takes about two hours.
【Interior】
Ordered the white and black interior. Think it looks quite nice.
