Review A
The side profile looks good, but the front face is slightly not to my taste, though that's not important. The power is very good; accelerating and overtaking in the city is smooth and silky. I haven't been on the highway yet, so further verification is needed. The interior is completely acceptable for this price range. The ambient lighting is a bit simple; the dashboard and the bottom of the seats could use some additional light strips, which wouldn't cost much more. There's a belt-like friction and resistance noise when steering at low speeds, and a slight buzzing sound when the engine kicks in at speed, but I can't feel the sound of a gasoline car engine. Every time after starting, in hybrid mode, the engine continues to run after the first two brake stops. Looking at the energy center, it's charging the battery. At this time, the engine sound is obvious and there's even a slight vibration in the steering wheel. At first, I thought there was a large truck nearby. It only happens during the first two brake stops after each start, and then the engine shuts off before stopping. I've driven about 1,000 kilometers so far, with hybrid mileage less than 300. I don't know how others achieve a fuel consumption of over 4; I can't reach that.

Test drive experience of D5X DMH:
Overall, it's a moderate car that meets the standards for family use. The front row space is sufficient, but the center console is a serious waste of space, and the buttons are too large...
The EV range is quite realistic. On the elevated road for 28km, the displayed EV range dropped from 90 to 60.
EV mode can handle power requests for all common accelerator pedal positions. The motor performance is sufficient.
The intervention of the gasoline engine is imperceptible overall, probably because the speed on the elevated road is not high enough for the engine to output power, and in fact, the motor still takes over the drive.
Compared with the Geely Jiaji PHEV that my colleague often drives, the advantages are as follows:
1. Less noise and vibration when the gasoline engine is outputting power. 4-cylinder 1.5 turbo vs 3-cylinder 1.5 turbo.
2. Better acceleration capability at around 80km/h in EV mode, 145kW vs 60kW.
3. Better suspension system shock absorption performance, multi-link vs torsion beam.
4. The infotainment system is smoother, the screen is larger, and the map version is newer.
5. The main driving instrument can display more performance parameters intuitively.
6. There are two cup holders in the front row.
7. Equipped with ambient lights, although a bit dim.
8. The brake pedal has a relatively short free travel.
9. The response time when stepping on the accelerator is short.
10. Imperceptible switching between EV and HEV modes. Single P2 hybrid vehicles need to rely on the drive motor for slipping start during electric-oil conversion, which will inevitably affect the power output to the wheels. P1+P3 hybrid vehicles have a dedicated P1 motor for starting the vehicle, which will not affect the wheel-end power.
The disadvantages in my opinion are as follows:
1. Although there are some physical buttons, there are not many functions that can be operated intuitively. Commonly used functions such as driving mode, low beam height, and regenerative braking strength need to be adjusted through the infotainment system, which is not intuitive enough.
2. No CRBS, can only drive in one-pedal mode.
3. The regenerative braking levels are not detailed enough, only low and high levels. And it needs to be adjusted on the infotainment screen. When encountering a long downhill, my driving method is to keep my right foot on the brake pedal and control the speed by adjusting the regenerative braking strength, which is not possible in the D5X DMH. The right foot must control the speed on the accelerator pedal, which is dangerous.
4. The logic of HEV mode is strange. Normally, plug-in hybrid vehicles should try to run out of EV range before starting the engine without deliberately setting forced power preservation. However, the D5X DMH will start the engine even at cruising power when the Soc is higher than 60%.
5. Voice recognition is a bit intelligent for the sake of being intelligent.
6. Most of the steering wheel buttons are up and down toggle buttons, but the up toggle and down toggle control different functions, which is not intuitive enough.
Some disadvantages that are not exactly disadvantages:
1. Because there is no traditional gearbox, you can't experience the surging power after the gearbox downshifts and the turbo builds up pressure when overtaking with a heavy throttle in traditional fuel vehicles or German-style hybrid vehicles. The conditions for 2DHT to downshift to low gear are too harsh.
2. It is impossible to intuitively display the instantaneous input/output power of the battery and the instantaneous fuel consumption of the internal combustion engine, which is not conducive to grasping the state of the vehicle. Displaying them together may have the suspicion of a "happy meter" in extreme cases. Because of the parallel mode, I can't calculate the power corresponding to 100% of its Power meter.
3. The steering wheel rotation damping changes with vehicle speed is a bit too obvious. The grip feel is a bit strange, possibly because its cross-section is not round, making it uncomfortable when turning the steering wheel with one hand for more than one full circle.

【Car Buying Experience】
I didn't notice this car when I was looking at cars at that time. I accidentally saw this car on Douyin and thought it looked very good, so I checked it out. I saw that this car is from Roewe, and the three major components are completely fine, and it is much cheaper than joint venture cars with the same configuration. So I immediately went for a test drive and was satisfied with all aspects. The most important thing is that SAIC Group has launched the Super Anxin Promise, which provides lifetime warranty for the three electrical components,不限年行驶里程,不限首任车主, and there is also a 0-ignition promise of one-for-one compensation if it burns. When buying a car~~ you not only need to look at the price, but also the guarantee. In addition, my family already has a fuel car, so I decisively chose a new energy vehicle!
【Driving Experience】
The test drive felt that the gearbox was super easy to use, the shifting was very smooth, there was no frustration problem, and it drove just like an electric car. I am quite satisfied with this point. Another detail I also like is that the brake force is very appropriate, not too light or too heavy, just right. It leaves enough buffer space for the driver, and the braking effect is also great. It is mainly driven in the urban area, and it is very easy to drive. The power is just enough. No one will drive a family car to the track to compare acceleration times. In fact, the power of this car is sufficient. The turbocharged direct injection engine has strong explosive power. With one kick of the accelerator, overtaking is no problem at all. I think the power reserve on the highway is also sufficient.
【Riding Experience】
The space can meet my needs, and the front row is still very spacious when I sit in it. My family members are not very tall, so they sit comfortably in the car without feeling crowded. Usually, I don't put much in the trunk, but it can hold a lot when needed. The central control large screen does look very high-end, which must be admitted. But some parts are not perfect to use. It is easy to get fingerprints when used bare, so I bought a film and pasted it myself, but there were many bubbles, which made it uncomfortable to look at. Also, sometimes this screen is too big, and it reflects a bit when the outdoor light is strong.
【Fuel Consumption】
The current total mileage is 1865km, and the indicated fuel consumption is 6.1L, which is much cheaper than my original fuel car~~
【Range】
The range performance is also good, no range anxiety,
【Most Satisfied】
Advantages: strong engine power, high battery range achievement rate, chassis tuning emphasizes comfort more, and obvious improvement in brake nodding.
【Least Satisfied】
Disadvantages: the configuration is not as rich as other brands, and the playability of the vehicle system is still limited.
Summary: A car worth driving. The lifetime warranty policy for the three electrical components is strong, and the price is more sincere than that of the same level!
