Review A

The Skyworth HT-i doesn't play around with too many fancy concepts; instead, it has a solid positioning – a family-oriented, fuel-efficient large five-seat plug-in hybrid SUV. Additionally, the Skyworth HT-i has a wheelbase of 2800mm, which provides more interior space for the entire vehicle, and its five-seat positioning also results in a more spacious rear row. It's worth noting that the BYD Tang series models, which focus on six seats, have a wheelbase of only 2820mm. At the same time, the gasoline engine in the Skyworth HT-i's plug-in hybrid system is supplied by Fudi Power, which is the Xiaoyun hybrid-specific 1.5-liter engine equipped in BYD's DM-i models. Furthermore, the Skyworth HT-i has quite rich hybrid modes, capable of achieving four common modes: motor direct drive, series, parallel, and engine direct drive, and it seamlessly adjusts according to driving conditions. This also seems very similar to BYD's DM-i models. The driving experience of the Skyworth HT-i is quite simple: comfortable and quiet. Comfort is reflected in the feedback from the chassis and suspension throughout the test drive, the physical feedback from acceleration and braking, as well as some feedback during cornering and sudden acceleration. Quietness is reflected in the fact that engine noise, chassis noise, wind noise, and tire noise are all suppressed quite well throughout the test drive. When it comes to comfort, it seems we don't have a good concept to quantify these two words, but it does exist indeed. The Skyworth HT-i is exactly the model that can give you this kind of comfort. The Skyworth HT-i uses a suspension combination of front MacPherson and rear five-link.

Review B

First reason: its safety is extremely poor. You should know that its pure electric version, the Skyworth EV6, only achieved a one-star rating even when tested by the renowned "Five-Star Wholesaler". Looking at the configuration list, most of its models only have two airbags, and some models don't even have ESP. So its safety is可想而知. Once a family-oriented SUV lacks safety, everything else is irrelevant.

Second reason: its driving and riding quality is poor. The steering feel and brake pedal feel are both light and vague, with very rough tuning. The driving quality is also not good; the chassis has a lot of细碎 vibrations, making it somewhat bumpy even when driving on flat roads. The noise is also very obvious, basically bottom-ranked among vehicles in the same price range. It's no exaggeration to say that when driving at high speeds, it's hard to have a conversation. After the engine kicks in, a lot of vibrations are transmitted to the steering wheel and pedals, numbing your hands and feet, resulting in a very poor experience.

Third reason: although it has many configurations, none of them are very usable. On the surface, its configurations are quite complete, basically keeping up with many newly launched models. But after using them, you'll find that they only solve the problem of existence; actual usage is quite frustrating. For example, the driving information on the full LCD instrument panel doesn't update in real-time, and the electricity consumption and fuel consumption data are just "good-looking" numbers with low reference value. Although the central control screen is relatively large, it has few functions and the operation is quite laggy. Despite the large number of speaker units, the sound quality is very poor, barely enough to produce sound—they might as well have directly installed the speakers from a Skyworth TV.

So does it have any highlights? Yes, it does. First is BYD's DM-i power system, which delivers smooth power output and ample power during sudden acceleration. Equipped with a battery pack of over 30 kWh, the official pure electric range reaches 205 kilometers, and actually running 140-150 kilometers is completely没问题. It also supports fast charging and slow charging, though the lack of external discharge is a minor disappointment.

Another highlight is its space. With a wheelbase of 2800mm, it has the size of a midsize SUV, and the interior space utilization is good. Both the seating space and the trunk cargo space are sufficiently spacious.

However, its drawbacks completely overshadow these two advantages. After all, it's unsafe, not easy to drive, and not easy to use. If you want daily use, it can't make you feel at ease and comfortable. Moreover, there are many other models in the same class with strong power and spacious interiors, which are often safer, better to drive, and more user-friendly than it. There's absolutely no need to choose it.

Review C

In terms of appearance, the new car is designed with a relatively personalized look and a sense of intelligent technology. It features a large-sized air intake grille, sharp headlights on both sides, two L-shaped air guide grooves at the bottom, and silver chrome strips at the edges, giving the front face a stable and imposing feel.

From the side view, there are obvious贯穿式 (guànchuānshì -贯穿式 is a specific automotive term meaning "through-type" or "full-width", so "贯穿式线条" is "through-type character line" or "full-width character line") character lines, a red line at the bottom, and black cladding added to the bottom and wheel arches. It adopts a double five-spoke design style, and the wheel hub shape is also very personalized.

At the rear, it presents a design style that is narrow at the top and wide at the bottom, and uses a thick through-type taillight, which will definitely be a highlight design when driving at night, giving a stable and steady feeling.

In the interior, it is equipped with a 12.8-inch central control screen and a 12.3-inch full LCD instrument panel. The car also has some horizontal lines, enhancing the sense of layering in the interior, and adopts an enveloping seat design style.

In terms of space, this car is positioned as a midsize SUV. In addition, the trunk size is not small, with a volume of 467L, and the rear seats support a folding function, so the trunk volume can be expanded to 1141L, making it no problem to temporarily place some luggage.

The 2022 Skyworth HT-i is equipped with ABS anti-lock braking system, reverse image, rear parking radar, keyless entry, keyless start, remote start, mobile phone Bluetooth key, 1 camera, 4 ultrasonic radars, etc.

The 2022 Skyworth HT-i is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system, using a 1.5L engine with a maximum power of 81 kW, maximum horsepower of 110Ps, and maximum torque of 135 N·m; a front single motor with a total motor power of 130 kW, total motor horsepower of 176Ps, and total motor torque of 300 N·m. In terms of batteries, it is equipped with a ternary lithium battery, with a pure electric cruising range of 115 kilometers and 205 kilometers.
