Review A
Compared with the Destroyer, I like the interior of the Qin the most. The black roof and black piano烤漆 material look very textured at first glance. The Destroyer feels too plasticky; although both use plastic, the Qin's interior is just a notch higher in quality than the Destroyer's. The power is sufficient for urban driving—basically, there's power whenever I step on the accelerator. I haven't driven it on the highway yet. It has all the important configurations except for the lack of front radar (only rear radar), so I might not have as much confidence when passing through narrow roads. The Qin is a耐看 type—it looks better the more you look at it, and the wheels are too. My previous car at home was a 2014 A4 top trim, which cost 410,000 yuan to land. I feel this car's interior completely crushes it. Also, because there's no gearbox, there's no jerking at low speeds, making it quite comfortable to drive. As for the lights, the high beam isn't very bright, but it's enough. It's much better than some manual transmission halogen headlights I've driven and also better than the old A4 at home—maybe because that car is too old, the lights have turned yellow and dim. In terms of space, it's similar to the A4, maybe even a bit bigger. With higher ground clearance and thicker tires, I feel more confident driving over rough roads. The suspension doesn't feel bad at all; considering the price, it's "road-feeling clear" but not uncomfortable, completely acceptable for daily use. There's a boat-like feeling when making sharp turns daily—the suspension is still on the soft side, but the rear suspension is a bit bouncy. I haven't properly tested the pure electric range. The 4S shop fully charged it on the first day, and I probably drove about 50 km with around 30% battery left. I'm not sure if the engine was working. Anyway, after refueling, the engine range has always shown 1125 and hasn't changed. The pure electric range is probably around 50 to 60 km. I'm quite satisfied because I mainly wanted to drive it as a gasoline car. Usually, my highest fuel consumption is 3.8 L/100km, and the lowest is 2.8 L/100km. The car shows 1125 km when full; now I've driven 500 km, and the display still has 600 km left. The range is quite accurate in the city. In terms of intelligence, it definitely can't compare with NIO, XPeng, or Li Auto, but it's better than Tesla. About 80% of the things inside the car can be turned on by the voice assistant daily. The most commonly used functions are turning on the air conditioning and playing music, but it can't control the windows. I'll keep driving it. I'm still very satisfied with this car so far, at least it can protect me from wind and sun.
Review B
【Range】
I bought the 55km range version and mainly use it as a fuel vehicle. The range is average in winter, but can reach about 50km when the weather is warm.
【Fuel Consumption】
The displayed fuel consumption can be as low as approximately 1.6L/100km, but I feel the actual fuel consumption may be slightly higher than the displayed value. (All attached pictures show fuel consumption when the battery is low. I basically use it as a fuel vehicle. It seems my fuel consumption is even lower than the official figure announced by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, but the displayed value may differ from the actual fuel consumption, for reference only.)
【Intelligence】
At this price point, the intelligent performance is quite good and sufficient. I personally don't pursue intelligence much; I value fuel efficiency and durability more. Durability cannot be evaluated yet. In terms of fuel efficiency, it should be on the same level as the Toyota Corolla, Toyota Levin, and Nissan Sylphy, with a fuel consumption gap of only a single-digit per 100km, because I have driven a 1.8L hybrid Corolla myself.
【Most Dissatisfied】
Tire Wear: Tire wear is the biggest problem with this car; almost every vehicle has this issue. The front tires of my car are slightly worn, and the rear tires are also somewhat worn. I plan to swap the front and rear tires when I reach 50,000 kilometers. I wonder if replacing them with better tires in the future can improve this problem.
Lighting Issue: The lights are too dim, both high beam and low beam, even dimmer than the lights of my Yadea electric scooter at home. I suggest BYD adjust the headlight design to make them brighter, just according to Yadea's standard, at least to illuminate the way home.
Front Bumper Beam Too Short: A while ago, a逆行 motorbike courier couldn't brake and hit me. The side was撞烂, causing damage to the radiator, but the front bumper beam was intact. The front wheel of the motorbike just避开 the bumper beam and penetrated my radiator. It's really speechless. Can BYD be more careful in manufacturing cars? Don't ignore quality issues for the sake of lowering prices. Even if you reduce the price less and improve the quality, consumers will still buy it.
【Car Purchase Experience】
I have driven a Corolla Hybrid, which is very fuel-efficient, and I originally planned to buy a Corolla. A friend said the Qin drives like an electric car, with fast acceleration, smoothness, and low noise. So I went to test drive the Qin Plus and then decided to buy it. After driving for a while, except that the fuel consumption is similar to the Corolla, other aspects basically completely outperform the Corolla. I don't know much about safety configurations, so I won't comment on that.
Review C
I travel on business quite a lot, so I checked reviews of this car online, test-drove it, and decided to buy it. Since picking up the car a month ago, it has offered great value for money and drives very smoothly. The only thing is that the battery range is a bit short, but its performance on highways is quite satisfying. The chassis is a bit low, so there's some颠簸 when encountering uneven roads, but for a car at this price, it's quite acceptable.
I mainly drive it as a gasoline-powered car, occasionally recharging it. Currently, only slow charging is available, taking about 2.5 hours per charge. The fuel consumption is around 4.5 under normal air conditioning use.
I have already had the first maintenance at the 4S shop one month after picking up the car, which took about half an hour, mainly focusing on battery maintenance. The second maintenance is scheduled around 10,000 kilometers. Maintenance supplies on the Wangchao app are cheaper than those in the shop. You can purchase them in advance before going for maintenance, or buy them during Douyin live streams. I strongly recommend buying the battery plate, which can be purchased during live streams and installed at a designated 4S shop.
