    I test-drove the BAIC EU5 PLUS in recent days. Today, I'd like to share my test-driving experience of this car with you. The EU5 PLUS can be regarded as an upgraded version of the EU5. In terms of appearance, the changes to the front of the car are quite obvious. The official calls its styling "Peak Leopard Aesthetics", which will also become the design language of the future EU family. The overall style is indeed younger than that of the EU5. The fast-charging port that was previously located at the front of the car has been moved to the left fender on the EU5 PLUS. Apart from the front, the changes to the rear are even more obvious. This model features the currently popular LED taillights with a through-type light strip, which enhances the visual texture.

    Compared with the appearance, the changes to the interior are quite radical. The dual 12.3-inch connected screens bring a great sense of technology and class to the interior. The instrument and multimedia systems offer different themes and have clear displays. A large amount of soft materials are used on the center console, and the detailed workmanship and tactile feel have been improved compared with the EU5. Below the multimedia touch screen, the EU5 PLUS's air-conditioning control panel uses physical buttons. This design facilitates blind operation by the driver and retains the daily usage habit.

    In terms of space, the EU5 PLUS has a good performance in legroom, but the headroom is a bit cramped. This is mainly because the overall seat position is relatively high. Even when adjusted to the lowest position, it is still a bit high. I hope adjustments can be made in this regard in the future. The seats are neither too hard nor too soft and offer good comfort.

    In terms of power, the EU5 PLUS is equipped with a 120kW motor with a maximum torque of up to 240 N¡¤m. These parameters are above the middle level in the same class. The actual driving experience in daily use is good. Although the power parameters have decreased compared with before, there is no obvious difference in the actual feeling, and it can still provide a good sense of acceleration. The handling is more comfort-oriented. The feedback from the accelerator and brake pedals is relatively linear, making it easy to get started and adapt to, which is in line with the positioning of a family car.

    There is still room for improvement in the chassis performance. It can ensure the stability of the car body when dealing with most bumps, but the filtering effect on some sporadic impacts and bumps is average. Therefore, there is still room for improvement in the overall texture and suspension toughness. Generally speaking, there are no obvious shortcomings in daily driving, and the chassis is at a medium level in the same class. In terms of noise, the wind noise is well controlled during daily driving, but the tire noise is more obvious.

    After a few days of test-driving, the BAIC EU5 PLUS has made adjustments to its styling, and the changes to the interior are obvious. The sense of class and workmanship have been improved compared with before. Its shortcomings are that the functions of the in-car system are relatively few, and the performance in terms of headroom in the seating space is average. In terms of dynamic performance, there are no major problems in daily driving, and no obvious hard defects can be found. As for the range, which is a common concern for electric vehicles, its performance is satisfactory. It should have no problem exceeding 400 kilometers easily in daily use.

    It's definitely the king of cost - performance in its class. It is equipped with a ternary lithium battery from CATL and has a rear independent suspension, etc. It's really a great car that has been overlooked!
    I originally bought a second - hand EC200 last year for commuting to work. The abnormal noise of the transmission device couldn't be fixed all the time. Just then I saw this newly launched car and fell in love with it at first sight. Moreover, it's cheap.
    Both the exterior and interior tend to be more youthful. I pasted a film on the exterior to modify it to make it look more sporty. The film I used is the best AX film.
    The drawback is that the car's infotainment system can't install Gaode Map. The low - end version still lacks some functions. For example, it doesn't have automatic mirror folding, external power discharge, or front collision radar. It's really a pity.
