Review A
As a self - proclaimed senior Mazda fan with two Mazdas at home, I've been keeping an eye on this car for a long time. After a test drive, I finally decided to buy it. Now, let me detail why I made this decision. First of all, the appearance is quite nice. This generation features the "Wing of Light" front grille, an electric tailgate spoiler, and through - type taillights, paired with Mazda's traditional round taillights. Although the overall body looks a bit bulky, the black decorative parts on the side slightly modify it, reducing the overall heaviness. Secondly, the handling still has that Mazda feel. I was a bit nervous during the test drive, but as soon as I got in and started driving, it was unmistakably Mazda. The steering wheel is very light and extremely responsive, pointing exactly where you want it to, with a distinct Mazda style. The EZ6 also has good support. When quickly changing lanes at about 70 km/h, only the passengers can feel the lateral G - force, and the vehicle seems to be glued to the ground with almost no roll. Then, since the Axela charges its capacitor when you lift off the accelerator, it actually feels similar to the current kinetic energy recovery. So with the EZ6, you can also simulate that pulling sensation by adjusting the kinetic energy recovery value. Another thing that won me over is this generation's HUD head - up display. It has changed from previously requiring a physical panel as a carrier to being able to project directly onto the windshield. The display has also become more diverse from just showing the speed value, now including information such as speed and navigation, and can be adjusted in the car's infotainment system.
Review B
I gave up on Tesla and joined the Mazda fan club. I originally planned to test drive a Tesla and place an order, but then a little thing happened. While on the test drive, I passed by a Mazda showroom and was immediately attracted by the appearance of the Mazda EZ-6. It was probably love at first sight, so I went for a test drive. Let's not even talk about it. I felt a bit dizzy when driving a Tesla, and so did my wife when she was in the car. But when we test drove the Changan Mazda EZ-6, my wife didn't get carsick, and I felt it drove more steadily. I used to only hear that Mazda cars handle well, and this test drive experience really lived up to the reputation. I tried the parking assist, IACC adaptive cruise control, and the lever-assisted lane-changing intelligent driving. I also tested 11 scenario modes, and it really felt like a smart cockpit. The zero-gravity seat was nice when I tried it, but I didn't think it was very useful, so I didn't choose to have it installed. The electric sunshade, on the other hand, seemed great, so I opted for it. I was a bit torn about the body color but finally chose white. The main reason I chose the Mazda EZ-6 was to avoid getting carsick. That's it for me. I used half of the money I had set aside to buy a Tesla to buy shares in Changan. I hope the stock price will go up. That way, it's like getting the Mazda EZ-6 for free when I buy the stocks. Hahaha. The salesperson even said my plan was quite smart.

[Car Purchase Experience]
I first discovered this car while shopping at the mall. I saw a Mazda new energy exhibition car and went to learn about it briefly. Actually, my initial impression of Mazda came from the Hainan Mazda taxis. I heard that Mazda cars are easy to drive, which was also the motivation for me to continue learning about it. It can be said that in the highly competitive new energy vehicle market, a car must have one or two features to attract customers, and "easy to drive and flexible" is the evaluation of this car. The most important thing when buying a car is the ability to test drive. The Mazda salesperson was very enthusiastic. I test drove the car three times before placing an order. Compared with some new car - making forces that don't allow test drives within less than a year, I think the Mazda salespeople showed great sincerity.
[Endurance and Energy Consumption]
The salesperson told me that with a full tank of gas and a full charge, the car can theoretically travel 1000 kilometers. I've filled 30 liters of 92 - octane gasoline and charged the car twice from 30% to 80%. Currently, the mileage is about 700 kilometers. I think it should be able to reach a range of 900 kilometers with a full tank of gas and a full charge.
[Assisted Driving]
This car is equipped with a good assisted driving system on the top model. After activation, it supports lane - changing with the lever (only for use on expressways/highways), AR HUD, and automatic parking. It can be said that this assisted driving system composed of multiple cameras and sensors is very useful. Even for novice drivers, there won't be much pressure to drive this car. In fact, it's a very interesting car and won't make people feel bored.
[Space Performance]
Many people think that Mazda sedans have small spaces, but the EZ6 has made a change. Although the rear - seat cushions are slightly small, the space performance is good. The trunk of this hatchback sedan is also large and can hold three or four suitcases. There is an armrest box in the front row, and the distance between the driver's and front - passenger's seats is about 35 centimeters. This car is a real B - class car, and its space performance is satisfactory.
[Interior]
The top - of - the - line model is equipped with electrically adjustable front seats with heating and ventilation functions. The steering wheel has a heating function. There are four air outlets in the front row and two in the rear row. See the pictures for details.
[Charging Time]
It takes about twenty minutes to charge the car from 30% to 80%. I didn't pay special attention. I used a charging pile near my home. I charge the car in the morning before going out, and it's done in the time it takes to have a breakfast. It's very convenient.
