    Review A

¡¾Appearance¡¿ It adopts the family-style front design of the EQ series. The three-pointed stars on the front grille are arranged in an orderly manner on the closed grille officially called the "Night Star Array". The wheels are also one of the major highlights of this car. I call them the three-pointed star matrix wheels, which are highly recognizable and full of a sense of technology. The appearance details are perfect. However, when viewed from the side, the front part of the body is relatively short, lacking a sense of grandeur. Moreover, my colleague jokingly said it looks a bit like a "little mouse".
    ¡¾Interior¡¿
The seat buttons don't have the action feedback of traditional physical buttons. That is to say, when you apply force to the button, the button doesn't move, but the seat will adjust according to your operation on the button. It's really not used to at first, just like when touch screens first came out, people weren't used to them, but it's the general trend. After all, Mercedes-Benz, with a century-old car-making heritage, has always been in a leading position.
    ¡¾Driving experience¡¿
One word: "stable"! Whether it's starting, lane-changing, turning or making a U-turn, the car body doesn't have any unnecessary movements. The slightly heavy accelerator gives the feeling of an electric vehicle, and the brake response is also at the level that a million-level sedan should have. Different from the fuel-powered S-Class, the relatively hard brakes of this car may require the owner to get used to them for some time. Needless to say about the power output, even domestic electric cars have already done a great job.
    ¡¾Most satisfied¡¿
The ultra-large integrated screen on the center console is very shocking. It shows both luxury and a sense of science fiction at the same time. All the information you want is right here. If you get into this car for the first time, you'll definitely have the same visual impact as I did!

    Review B

¡¾Driving Experience¡¿The addition of rear-wheel steering technology makes this large executive sedan over 5 meters long as agile as an ordinary Class B model. The steering feel can be adjusted according to different modes, and its accuracy is also commendable. With a weight of nearly 2.7 tons and a price tag of over one million, it's reasonable for this luxury car to be equipped with an air suspension. There are also obvious differences in the suspension's support performance and response under different modes. In Comfort mode, you can hardly feel anything when passing over speed bumps, and the road feel is almost completely smoothed out. Although the seats of this car don't give me the same kind of amazing feeling as the Maybach S450 did back then, the suspension's delicate handling of the road surface makes the overall riding comfort of the car excellent. No matter how bumpy the road is, the body's shaking and movements are very slight and crisp. Only in the first step of Comfort mode is the shaking slightly more obvious. You can feel that the rebound speed of the suspension has been deliberately slowed down, just to rock you. Figuratively speaking, it's like a baby's cradle, making it easy for you to fall asleep. When switched to Sport mode, the suspension's movements become crisp and decisive, and there's no excessive roll when cornering at high speed. As for power, it's like a man's wallet. I may not need it, but I can't do without it! So, as a luxury car, especially a pure-electric luxury car, how can the EQS not have power? As long as you're willing to step on the accelerator, it can give you a strong sense of being pushed back into your seat, making you - or rather, the boss - the fastest one in the traffic. And how can a man say he's not fast... In Normal mode, the power of the EQS is tuned to be very smooth. The throttle response is very immediate, similar to that of an ordinary fuel-powered car. The difference is that there's no gear shifting, so there's absolutely no sense of jerking. It's extremely smooth: you want to go slow, it goes slow; you want to go fast, it goes fast. Personally, I've always thought that the Polestar 2 does the best in terms of energy recovery logic. The EQS still requires a bit more precise control of the accelerator pedal in this regard, and the recovery mainly takes effect within the first 5% of the pedal's opening, so I don't particularly enjoy it. ¡¾Riding Experience¡¿Compared with the ordinary S-Class, the rear space of the EQS is visibly smaller. Despite the car's length, it seems that the space has been taken up by the styling. To reduce the drag coefficient of the production car to 0.2Cd, sacrifices have to be made, including the rear headroom. Therefore, to prevent the boss from hitting their head, the seats have to be moved forward a bit, indirectly compressing the rear space. In fact, even with the compression, there's still some length, so it can't be extremely cramped. It's just that compared with the S-Class, the boss's sitting posture may not be as elegant. Meanwhile, the rear is designed for three seats, so the small fridge in the middle of the previous S-Class is gone. Then how can I drink my Lafite! What kind of proper executive car for bosses would seat three people in the back! How awkward! So, I think this car is more suitable for those who occasionally want to drive their families out for a quiet weekend getaway on their own, getting away from the hustle and bustle of business. They just want to use that little bit of time squeezed out to listen to music, drive, and feel the breeze. And the peace that the EQS can offer to its owners is unparalleled.

    Review C

¡¾Satisfaction¡¿The EQS currently represents the highest - level interior standard among new - energy vehicles on this planet. It continues the traditional luxury that Mercedes - Benz is good at. Everything, including the steering wheel, seats, and decorative materials, can be compared to the luxury level of the top - spec Mercedes - Benz S - Class. In terms of driving control, such as suspension performance, steering feel, and comfort, the EQS has also exceeded all previous standards.
¡¾Highlights¡¿The sense of technology is well presented. The OLED Hyperscreen, which is over 1.4 meters wide, is of high specification. Three screens are covered with Corning Gorilla curved glass, resulting in a strong sense of unity and excellent display effects. The picture has high contrast, and the black areas and edges are gradient - treated. The OLED Hyperscreen, which is over 1.4 meters wide, is of high specification. Three screens are covered with Corning Gorilla curved glass, presenting a very strong sense of unity, excellent display effects, high picture contrast, and gradient - treated black areas and edges.
¡¾Dissatisfaction¡¿However, the Mercedes - Benz EQS fails to give people the innovative feeling of an epoch - making vehicle. Its innovative impact is even less powerful than that of the first - released Tesla Model S or Model X. The reason is that the EQS doesn't make a substantial breakthrough compared with the traditional fuel - powered flagship Mercedes - Benz S - Class in terms of appearance, interior, and structure. It is a continuation and targeted adjustment of "Mercedes - Benz - style luxury" under the electric architecture.
¡¾Space Experience¡¿As a vehicle positioned as the "S" in the electric - vehicle field, there's no need to elaborate on the space. It's worth mentioning three differences:
    1. The central bulge of the rear - seat floor is much lower than that in the era of traditional fuel - powered vehicles.
    2. The hood at the front of the vehicle cannot be opened, lacking the extra storage space found in some electric vehicles.
    3. The trunk opening is larger compared with the traditional Mercedes - Benz S - Class, making loading more convenient.
¡¾Dynamic Experience¡¿The 580 4MATIC model I test - drove is a dual - motor all - wheel - drive version. Only in ECO mode is it suitable for rear - seat passengers to have the most luxurious experience, which is similar to the comfort of the traditional Mercedes - Benz S - Class. In other modes, the power response is very rapid, and rear - seat passengers can clearly feel it. In sport mode, there will be a strong sense of being pushed back into the seat and an almost suffocating G - force. The feeling of the chassis and suspension is similar to that of the Mercedes - Benz S - Class. The chassis is more stable due to the addition of the battery, with a strong sense of hugging the ground. Both the shock - filtering level and the overall noise reduction are of a high standard.
¡¾Power Consumption Level¡¿The actual measured power consumption is about 20 kWh per 100 kilometers, slightly exceeding this figure under high - speed conditions. Considering the large size of the vehicle and its many power - hungry in - car configurations, this is acceptable.
