    Review A

    1. Appearance. Personally, I don't like large SUVs, so I gave up NIO and Li Auto. I considered Tesla Model 3, Model Y, and XPeng P7. I decisively chose Y between 3 and Y. So for me, it's a question of choosing between Model Y and P7. I can accept the appearance of both of them.
    2. Autopilot: Tesla is better and smoother. There's no doubt about this. However, since I'm not a big fan of autopilot, this factor doesn't carry much weight for me.
    3. Space: Model Y is larger. The rear seats can be folded down, which really appeals to me.
    4. Battery: When I went for a test drive, the Tesla salesperson said that Tesla's batteries are the best and can achieve 60 - 70% of the rated range under normal driving conditions, and that other cars have inflated range claims. The 480 - kilometer version can run over 300 kilometers in summer. To be honest, this really deducted points from Tesla. Because I previously owned a BAIC, and it could achieve 80 - 90% of the rated range under normal driving. My Hongguang MINI can also reach 80%. So what the salesperson said was a minus.
    5. In - car infotainment system: XPeng wins.
    6. Interior: XPeng wins.
    7. Cameras, which is also a very important reason why I didn't buy Y. Because it's recording all the time.
    8. Driving mode: Y has a single - pedal driving mode, which I'm not used to. Moreover, I'm worried that if I get used to this single - pedal mode, I might mistake the accelerator for the brake when driving other cars.
    9. Charging pile: It needs to be purchased separately at an additional cost.
In conclusion, after looking at Tesla and considering my own situation, I like the XPeng P7, so I placed an order for it.

    Review B

    Advantages:
    1. The audio system has a full sense of ceremony. When you turn on the music, the tweeters rise slowly, and the sound quality is worth the price. Once the sense of ceremony is in place, your ears will simply accept it without being picky.
    2. I'm really fond of the sound effects when parking or driving at low speeds. It's a combination of a sense of technology and warmth.
    3. The design of the armrest box is really excellent. It's flat, soft, and large, with a proper position. It's just right to rest your arms on it while driving. It can also hold things like your phone that you need to put down temporarily.
    4. The exclusive mode of the audio system eliminates the sense of dissonance when listening to music and using navigation while driving. The navigation and Bluetooth sounds come from the headrest of the driver's seat, and the music comes from the speakers, so they don't interfere with each other.
    5. This damned design enthusiast! The car license plate can be projected on the main menu page, and cars of different colors have different color - schemes on their respective dashboards. This kind of thoughtful design makes me feel warm and gives me a sense of exclusivity.
    6. The deeply customized Amap is really amazing. It reacts quickly. When you take a wrong turn, it replans the route instantly without any delay. The positioning is also very accurate. In many aspects, it's better than Baidu Map on mobile phones.
    7. As for the voice control system, I won't go into details. In a word, it's the best among currently mass - produced cars.
    8. The panoramic roof is great. Once I was sitting in the back row waiting for someone at night. Looking at the moon above my head and accompanied by the melodious music, it was so easy and relaxing to enjoy the moment.
    9. I really love the automatic seat adjustment when getting in and out of the car. When parking, the seat moves back automatically, providing enough space to get in. When you get into the driver's seat, the seat automatically adjusts to the preset position. It has an extremely high - end feel. (Of course, my old 5 - Series also has this function, but XPeng also plays music during the adjustment.)
    10. Let's make it a perfect ten. The small step design behind the dashboard can hold quite a few handy things, which solves the problem of having nowhere to put your personal belongings.

    Review C

Appearance: The most satisfying aspect. At first, I wasn't quite used to the front face. Actually, I still think the front face of the Han EV is good-looking. Now, after driving it for almost half a year, I've gotten used to it. However, the side and rear views are unrivaled in the same price range. Especially in the evening, the texture of the taillights is top-notch, comparable to that of a Panamera.
Power: I won't go into the parameters. Let me talk about the driving experience. Since I work in a power plant-related job and can charge the car for free, I've never been stingy with power. I usually use the standard mode with low energy recovery and floor the accelerator whenever I can. When I first bought the car, I did feel the acceleration, but it wasn't extremely impressive (especially after test-driving the high-performance version of the Han EV). After all, I didn't buy the high-performance version. At most, it's like the driving experience of a 2.0T high-performance car, and it doesn't have the shifting texture of a fuel car. Now, after getting used to it, I think the power is sufficient for daily use and family needs. But after a few accelerations, I feel the power is just average, without a strong sense of pushback or dizziness. If you're after excitement, you should at least choose the high-performance version. This is also the thing I regret the most because the high-performance version of the Han EV in the same price range is really powerful. Or I should have chosen the official second-hand high-performance P7 at that time.
Interior: This is a major reason why I gave up the Han EV and chose the P7. I simply can't accept the interior of BYD (I personally think it's the biggest failure of the Han EV). In contrast, the interior of the XPeng P7 is simple yet sophisticated. It's not as hasty as Tesla's, and it still has a sense of fashion and technology, while also having a touch of luxury. I opted for the music package. The Nappa leather seats and the rising tweeters enhance the sense of luxury. I chose a good full-coverage floor mat, which matches the car perfectly.
Other features: It has a high level of intelligence. The voice control is the most user-friendly, and the autonomous driving is among the best, along with automatic parking. The audio system is also excellent. There's an obvious difference compared to most cars (even people with poor hearing can tell). It can only show its real strength with XPeng's own sound effects. The Dynaudio sound effects are a bit of a letdown. I'm an audio/headphone enthusiast. When adjusted well, I think it's worth the money and better than the Han EV and Tesla. This is also a major reason why I chose XPeng (Many people don't know how to adjust it. There are still some problems with the reverb of this audio system, and the low volume is a bit too high).
Range: Finally, let's talk about the range issue. My energy consumption is about 20 kWh per 100 kilometers, while my colleague can achieve 13 kWh per 100 kilometers (he can get close to a 1:1 ratio with the WLTP range). There are differences in winter, spring/autumn, and summer. Listening to music, using the air conditioner, driving mode, driving style, road conditions, and weather can all affect the range. People who don't understand electric cars might say the range is inaccurate. The battery capacity is 80 kWh. People who know cars can calculate the range based on the energy consumption per 100 kilometers (XPeng defaults to charging to 90%. The WLTP range is 517 kilometers. You don't need to adjust it for urban trips. You can set it to 100% for long-distance trips, and the WLTP range will be over 570 kilometers). It's definitely enough for urban use and basically okay for trips within the province (don't mention places like Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang, and Tibet). For occasional long-distance trips over 450 kilometers, it's advisable to plan the charging. I think it's just right to charge the car while having a meal on the way. If you travel across provinces over 600 kilometers frequently for business, it's better to choose a fuel car because no electric car is practical enough in this case.
Space: There's not much to say about the front row. It's definitely no problem for a family of three or if you mainly drive by yourself. I rarely use the back row. The rear space is just average. It's better than most Class A cars, but it doesn't match the wheelbase and the length of the car. The rear seat cushion is indeed a bit short, and the backrest angle is a bit too straight. It's okay for short urban trips, but if the family often travels for more than an hour, the comfort in the back row is really not great (although it's slightly better than Tesla's). In this regard, the Han EV is much better. The trunk and the frunk are okay.
Summary: With a budget of 270,000 - 300,000 yuan, you won't regret buying it. I still miss the amazing acceleration I felt when test-driving the Han EV. In other aspects, the XPeng P7 is very good. It's a car I really like. Also, I want to complain about why the electric trunk can't be installed at the factory. It would be okay to pay extra for it. It's so troublesome! And there are some people who specifically smear XPeng. Just ignore them. When I was about to buy the car, the Guangzhou Auto Show incident happened. I hesitated at first. Later, I found that there were a few people who were really working hard to smear XPeng, and it was always the same few people. I don't know if they have some vested interests or if they really got a defective product and are very picky (there's always a good product rate for everything). Now, as an owner, I can tell you that most people in the car owner community have a good evaluation of XPeng. The above only represents my personal opinion, and I don't want to argue. Actually, cars that can sell well at this price range must have both advantages and disadvantages. Finally, I hope everyone can choose a car they like.
