【Car Purchase Experience】
I have a small mini electric car, which I bought a few years ago thinking it would be enough for commuting and running errands around the area. During use, I found the space too small and the comfort poor. Except for the four seats, the trunk is almost non-existent and can't hold anything, failing to meet my usage needs. This year, the new car replacement policy is good, so I thought about switching to a hybrid that can go anywhere. I looked at several brands and chose the A8L among cars in the same price range. It has high-strength steel, a 1.5T engine, high safety factor, and strong power, making it one of my target replacement models. Then I made an appointment for a test drive. The acceleration is fast, the body stability and braking experience are well-tuned, and after calculating all subsidies, it was within my budget, so I switched to it.
【Least Satisfactory】
There's one unsatisfactory aspect: occasionally there is abnormal noise from the center console. After checking at the after-sales service, no problem was found; the design sealing is not very good. I bought a center console sealing strip and pasted it myself, and the noise disappeared. This point needs improvement.
【Exterior】
The exterior is good, with elongated body lines that look nice. The paintwork is finely done. The front face resembles a taxi driver's car, enhancing the grade.
【Interior】
I chose the light-colored interior, which looks better and more upscale than black, but it's not stain-resistant.
【Space Performance】
Switching from the small mini to this car, the comfort is perfect. The layout design of the interior is simple and doesn't take up much space, making the space appear larger. The front and rear seating space is very good for a sedan.
【Range and Energy Consumption】
The nominal range is 145 kilometers, but the actual range is about 110 kilometers, and the battery retention is okay. Energy consumption also depends on personal driving habits, road conditions, and speed. I mainly drive it myself, and it's more fuel-efficient than a gasoline car. I've driven over 2,000 kilometers and have only refueled once, which wasn't even a full tank. Most of the trips are mainly electric.
Overall, the high-end version of the A8L is not bad. After deducting the old car trade-in value and adding subsidies, it meets my expectations. If you want to buy it, go directly for the top configuration.

At first, I wanted to buy the gasoline-powered Arrizo 8, but considering my salary and subsequent usage costs, an electric vehicle was more suitable for me. However, I need to travel long distances during Chinese New Year and other holidays, and pure electric vehicles have range anxiety. In the end, I went to check out the hybrid Fengyun A8, which can run on both oil and electricity. For daily commuting, I charge it once every two or three days, and the electricity bill is definitely lower than the fuel cost; when driving long distances, even if there's no electricity, it can be driven as a pure gasoline car, so I don't have to worry about charging. During the test drive, I thought the A8L had a better large screen and range, so I finally gritted my teeth and bought the A8L. I thought that since I was already taking out a loan, borrowing an extra 20,000 yuan would only increase the pressure a little bit. It's my first car, so I should buy the one I like, and I went straight for the top configuration. I picked up the car at Wuhu Yunrui before the New Year. I contacted their store manager the day before, and he asked me to go early the next day to complete the procedures. I was still纠结到底买不买艾瑞泽8呢, the store manager gave me a "brainwashing" and personally took me for a test drive. His service attitude made me recognize Chery! By noon, I finally decided to pay. I thought I wouldn't be able to pick up the car that day because it was Friday, and I was afraid that if the procedures couldn't be completed and the temporary license couldn't be issued before getting off work, I would have to wait two days to drive it away. The store manager kept helping to contact and speed up the process, and finally completed it a few minutes before getting off work. I couldn't install the charging pile during the Chinese New Year, so I kept driving with low battery. I drove almost 700 kilometers in hybrid mode, with the lowest fuel consumption being 2.8 and the highest 5.9. Recently, the comprehensive fuel consumption is around 4.2 or 4.3, which is definitely lower than that of a pure gasoline car, so my choice was correct. I'm still observing if there are any subsequent problems, hahaha, overall I'm very satisfied.

My first car. After looking at other models, I still chose the Fengyun A8L. Pure fuel-powered vehicles and pure electric vehicles were not what I considered; plug-in hybrids are more practical. For commuting to the county seat and the city, electricity is sufficient for daily use, and the commuting cost is毫无压力.
The power is both strong and fuel-efficient: the fuel-electric coordination is super smooth. A light press on the accelerator and it surges forward; overtaking is much more powerful than ordinary fuel cars. The chassis is as stable as an "old dog" (extremely stable), no bumpy ride on rough roads, no floating feeling when cornering at high speeds, and no fatigue during long drives.
The range is exceptionally long: a full charge can run 106 kilometers, and the instrument display is almost not falsely marked; a full tank of fuel can run 1,600 kilometers, basically saying goodbye to range anxiety at gas stations.
Points to complain about: The infotainment system is like an elderly phone—although the screen responds quickly, there are pitifully few apps (even NetEase Cloud Music requires DIY installation). The voice assistant is a bit silly; you have to reach out to press the button to close the car window.
I'm tall (1.89 meters), and there's still a fist's worth of headroom when I sit in. The back seat allows for leg-stretching (crossing legs), but of course, three胖子 squeezed together would be uncomfortable.
The trunk is deep enough to hold large items, but there's no soft pad on the top (I later installed a soundproof board myself), so placing suitcases can easily scratch the roof.
Driving in electric mode feels like a toy car—quiet and agile; in fuel mode, it's like being "injected with chicken blood" (full of energy), easily overtaking on the highway.
Handling is flexible; the steering wheel goes exactly where you point it, even new drivers can feel like experienced ones.
The exterior looks like a coupe, with through-type taillights and a溜背造型 (sloping roof design), especially stylish when driving out at night.
The large interior screen is awesome (resolution higher than a phone), but the light-colored seats get dirty in three days; it's recommended to buy the black version. The seat adjustment buttons are hidden too deep; adjusting the seat each time is like looking for an Easter egg.
There's no autonomous driving (you have to drive yourself on the highway), but the panoramic影像 (surround-view camera) is very clear, so you don't have to worry about scraping the curb when reversing.
This car is the type of "the most过日子-savvy among tough guys".
