Review A
Driving experience:
The acceleration from 0 to 60 is very fast. There are also 2.0T and 3.0T fuel - powered cars in my family. In terms of power, it is equivalent to a traditional 2.0T fuel - powered car. The power performance of this electric vehicle is quite good. It is also quieter than fuel - powered cars. The car weighs over two tons and feels very stable when driving. Driving experience varies from person to person, but generally speaking, I think it is better than fuel - powered cars in the same price range.
Power aspect: Overall, the power is neither particularly good nor bad. Since it is a two - wheel - drive version, the power from 0 to 60 is quite strong, and the mid - to - late - stage acceleration is also acceptable, which is no problem for daily household use.
Most dissatisfied points:
The problem of winter range. The official claimed range is 605 kilometers, but when using the air - conditioner in winter, it can only run about 350 - 420 kilometers. The range drops extremely fast. When driving on the highway, you need to charge in advance, which doesn't give you the sense of security like a fuel - powered car. In addition, the product update and iteration speed is a bit fast, but it seems that the whole market is like this at present. The assisted driving is a bit disappointing. Also, the turning radius is too large.
Most satisfied points:
When test - driving, I liked the CT5 Premium Edition the most. However, as an electric vehicle, the Song Plus saves a lot on fuel costs. Calculated based on a joint - venture car running 60,000 kilometers, the fuel cost would be at least about 50,000 yuan. Moreover, the rear - seat space of other cars can't be compared with that of the Song Plus. The Song Plus has high cost - effectiveness, with a low price and high - end configuration. The seats have ventilation and heating functions, it has L2 - level autonomous driving, the steering wheel and seats are made of genuine leather, and it is equipped with a 360 - degree panoramic camera. Few joint - venture cars in the market can achieve these, and the exterior and interior of the Song Plus also look great.
Review B
Every time I go to the gas station, I watch the numbers on the fuel gauge climb rapidly. My friends around me have gradually switched to new energy vehicles, so I'm a bit wavering. Moreover, there are charging piles at my workplace, so it'd be quite suitable to buy a new energy vehicle. Since I've decided to buy an SUV, I've been hesitating between Geely's Galaxy L7 and the BYD Song PLUS EV. When I went to the 4S store and got into the car, the interior was very delicate and the configuration was also rich. After chatting with the sales guy about the price in detail, I found that the discount was quite substantial, and my wife preferred the appearance, so I bought this car.
[Least Satisfied]
The car's infotainment system is a bit unstable. Most of the time, it works smoothly, but occasionally it acts up. Once, I was in a hurry to go out. I started the car and wanted to use the navigation, but the infotainment system didn't respond for a long time and just got stuck there. No matter how hard I tapped the screen, it was useless. It took quite a while to return to normal. Also, when listening to music, the Bluetooth connection with my phone often has problems. It keeps disconnecting and reconnecting. However, these are all just probability events, and there are no problems in other aspects.
[Space Performance]
The interior space of the car is quite good. In the front row, even after I adjusted my seat, there was still a lot of headroom. In the back row, there's also plenty of legroom, more than two fists' worth. The headroom is also sufficient, and the middle of the rear floor is almost flat, so the legroom is more spacious. It's really nice.
[Range and Energy Consumption]
This car has a pure - electric range of 520 km. I almost charge it once a week because there are charging piles at my workplace and it's free, so I hardly spend any money. Although the stated range is 520 km, when driving in Chengdu in winter, it's only about 490 km. But that's still enough for my daily commute within the city.
[Intelligent Cockpit]
Actually, the overall performance is quite good. It's more comfortable and convenient to use than gasoline - powered cars in the same price range. It's just that the infotainment system occasionally lags or the Bluetooth disconnects. Other than that, it's all okay.
Overall, I'm still very satisfied. For a price of over 100,000 yuan, I bought a worry - free car for daily commuting, and the expenses are not high. It's very cost - effective.
Review C
On a full charge, I once drove 90 kilometers (on ring roads and urban roads, with ECO mode and standard energy recovery, air - conditioning set at 25¡ãC and seat ventilation on throughout the journey), and there was still 85% of the range left. Calculated, it should be able to run about 520 kilometers (I'm not good at math, so don't scold me if I'm wrong). Many owners of this car say it can run over 500 kilometers.
The original tires of the car are not very good. They produce a lot of noise and are prone to skidding. If your budget allows, you can consider changing the tires directly when picking up the car. The brakes are not easy to control. They feel hard at first when you step on them, and if you step on them too hard, the car will stop immediately. You need time to get used to them.
The car has a large space, and the seats are soft. Both the driver's and front - passenger's seats have ventilation and heating functions, which allow a commoner like me to experience the features of a luxury car. It's quite nice. The central control large screen is just a big Android tablet. I watch videos for a while when taking a lunch break in the car every day. There are many speakers, and the sound effect is quite good. The sunroof is large. It's very comfortable to open it when going out for a drive, and it comes with a sunshade so you won't get sunburned in summer. The sound insulation inside the car is also excellent. You can hardly hear people talking outside when the car doors are closed. There was a smell of a new car inside the car, but it's much better after half a year. The car has a green air purification function that can quickly reduce PM2.5, which is very practical.
