    Review A

    1. Exterior
It's already a global model, so its appearance must have been recognized by the public. The new model's appearance is quite sharp, somewhat reminiscent of the little Tang L. The radar camera in the middle of the car's front end looks a bit like a belly button, which somewhat affects the aesthetics. The high-mounted brake light at the rear of the car and the lights on the lower spoiler are quite stylish, but it'll take some time to get used to them.
    2. Interior
Compared with the first-generation model, the interior is more minimalist. The instrument display is no longer a small monitor. The basic design elements like dumbbells, guitar strings, and the audio system for opening the door still exist. It still seems to be a rather eye-catching design highlight, unlike other current new energy vehicle models where you can tell what the interior is like without even getting inside. Personally, I feel that the Dynasty steering wheel doesn't look as dynamic and premium as the Ocean steering wheel.
    3. Space
I'm 175 cm tall with a normal build. There's no crowding in the front, back, left, or right, and the space is just enough. I can cross my legs or sit normally. The Beyond version has a sunroof compared to the Leading version, so the headroom is much more comfortable. When the sunshade is opened, the interior feels more airy, reducing the feeling of motion sickness.
    4. Configuration
Online, the more popular versions of this car are the 430 and 510 Leading models. The Beyond version has many more comfort features, such as automatic adjustment of the front seats, ventilation and heating, a sunroof, a 360 - degree panoramic view, a roof rack, and an anti - glare rear - view mirror. Most importantly, all Yuan PLUS models come with 7 airbags. I originally wanted to buy the Aion Y, but the 2024 and 2025 models only have 2 airbags... I think the models with good cost - performance are the 430 Leading, 430 Beyond, and 510 Leading. If you want a higher - end option, it's better to add some money and buy the Haishi 05 EV. Although I think the appearance of that car is not as good as this Yuan PLUS, the chubby little powerhouse is more appealing.
    5. Driving Experience
There's also a plug - in hybrid sedan in my family, with an acceleration time of 6 - 7 seconds. Compared with the long sedan, driving the Yuan PLUS is really exciting. In sports mode, the rapid acceleration brings a bearable sense of pushback. The 5 - 7 - second acceleration range is just right. Going for excessive speed will make you uncomfortable. The overall suspension is more focused on comfort, and the feedback from the road surface is short and brisk. The four - link rear suspension has a certain toughness when driving, providing some support during continuous turns.
    6. Range and Energy Consumption
It's just a commuting vehicle. When it runs out of power, just go home and charge it. It's good as long as it's fun to drive.
    7. Assisted Driving
When I turn on the Tian Shen Yan C on the elevated road, I can feel it's "thinking". For example, when there are many vehicles and it comes to overtaking, it'll hesitate whether to overtake or not. It's recommended that in the current situation, don't turn on the high - speed pilot mode if you're not familiar with your regular commuting route, because you won't be sure whether to keep your foot on the brake or the accelerator, as it may speed up or slow down at any time. So, drive by yourself when there are many cars, and you can save some effort when there are fewer cars. Currently, I've only turned on the lane - centering function.
    8. Extended Warranty
Don't buy the extended warranty at the dealership. I bought the extended warranty at the dealership, and later found out that I could buy it 500 yuan cheaper outside. I also got two free maintenance services. But I still recommend buying it outside. Since the maintenance cost of a pure - electric vehicle isn't that high anyway, two maintenance services probably only cost around 300 yuan. Or try to get some other benefits.
    9. Window Tinting
Don't pay to upgrade the window tint. Unless it's a model of a similar high - end level like the Han or Tang, the factory - installed tint isn't that transparent and is completely sufficient. It's been reported that some people paid to upgrade the tint, but the workers still used ordinary tint. If you really want to upgrade for an ordinary model, it's recommended to first try the free tint and then, if it's not satisfactory, go outside to get it tinted, which is also very cost - effective.
    10. Compressor Noise
There's a high probability that the compressor of this model will make noise. When the air - conditioning is turned up to the 4th gear or higher to the maximum, there'll be a very obvious metallic noise from the air - conditioning radiator at the front of the car. It's confirmed that it's not the sound of the cooling fan. The noise at the maximum air - conditioning setting is quite loud and exaggerated. It can only be heard from the outside, not inside the car. Some people online have replaced the compressor and the cooling fan assembly, but the problem still remains.

    Review B

    [Car purchase experience]
I'm a rather conservative person and don't have the courage to buy a car from a new - energy startup. I'm afraid that if the company goes bankrupt one day, there won't be anywhere to repair the car. The Yuan PLUS is exported to Southeast Asia, South America, and Europe. There are also many of these cars used as ride - hailing vehicles on domestic roads, which shows that its technology is quite mature. Also, BYD's batteries might be a bit more reliable compared to those of other manufacturers. The service at the BYD 4S store here is excellent, and the salesperson in charge of me is very nice.

    [Driving experience]
Anyway, it's more comfortable to drive than a gasoline car, with plenty of power. If you've driven an electric car for a long time and then drive a gasoline car, you'll find it quite uncomfortable!

    [Endurance]
In this weather, it can achieve full - range mileage without turning on the air - conditioner. I'm not sure how much the range will be reduced in winter. Anyway, I don't really mind this. This car is mainly used for urban commuting, and besides, I have a garage at home, which makes charging convenient.

    [Most satisfied]
I'm quite satisfied overall. It's a car that costs just over 100,000 RMB, so we shouldn't have too high expectations. I just hope it won't break down on the road in the future.

    [Least satisfied]
BYD's in - car infotainment system is still a bit lacking. You can't choose to install an electric tailgate, and the resolution of the central tablet is a bit low.

    [Riding experience]
The front seats are okay, but the back seats are a bit bumpy.

    Review C

[Endurance]: It's a fallacy to talk about endurance without considering road conditions, pacing, and load. My battery pack has a capacity of 60 kWh, and the official endurance is 510 km.
    1. In urban areas, when driving on the Third Ring Road in Wuhan and other urban roads, the ring road usually accounts for 75%, and congested urban sections usually account for 25% (I don't like driving slowly, so I drive at the maximum speed on sections with speed cameras. Without speed cameras, it depends on the road conditions. Normally, I maintain a speed of about 90 - 105 km/h when conditions permit. Considering traffic lights and congestion, the average speed for the whole journey is about 38 - 40 km/h; the energy recovery is average; the driving mode is the normal mode; the air - conditioner is set at 28¡ãC in winter, usually set at the highest level to quickly warm up at the start, and set at 22¡ãC in summer, usually set at the lowest level to quickly cool down, and the outside air circulation is used all year round; the music is always on; the navigation is always on; the wireless charging for the phone is used occasionally; I'm the only passenger, I'm 177 cm tall and weigh 122 catties). Under these driving conditions: In winter (when the outdoor temperature is between -2¡ãC and 9¡ãC), the displayed power consumption per 100 km is usually 14 - 16 kWh, and the endurance is about 350 - 380 km (now the battery drains faster when the remaining power is below 20%); in summer (when the outdoor temperature is above 25¡ãC), the displayed power consumption per 100 km is usually 11 - 13 kWh, and the endurance is about 430 - 460 km; at other times, the displayed power consumption per 100 km is about 1 kWh higher than in summer, that is, 10.2 - 12 kWh, and the endurance is about 470 - 500 km.
    2. On ordinary highways, when the actual speed is 120 - 130 km/h, the endurance is 280 - 300 km in winter, 290 - 330 km in summer, and at other times, it can only reach about 320 - 340 km. I don't think the difference is very obvious. [Supplement: If you're going on a long - distance trip on the highway, it's recommended to set the charging interval within 300 km. This way, you'll get the best cost - performance. Drive slowly when the battery is low, and usually there won't be any problems.]
    3. On highway sections without speed cameras, with good road conditions and light traffic, I usually drive at 150 - 165 km/h (except for starting, turning, and yielding to other vehicles). Last time, the power consumption per 100 km was 24.7 kWh/100 km. I haven't tried driving at such a high speed all the way. I estimate that it may not even reach 220 km. (For example: Last time I went to Mulan Mountain. The round - trip distance was 260 km, and the one - way highway section was more than 70 km. I drove at 150 - 164 km/h on the highway. When I got home, the remaining battery was only 20%. [Supplement: The battery drains faster after it drops below 20%]).
[Driving Experience]: I'm quite satisfied with the driving experience. My satisfaction lies in the power and suspension damping:
    1. Power: For a vehicle with a curb weight of 1.7 tons and a power of 150 kW, to be honest, I'm quite satisfied. If the power were lower, I'd find the car sluggish and inflexible. (For example: When I set the power mode to the ECO mode, the maximum output power should be 116 kW [I've tried it several times, and it's almost this figure]. In this mode, I lack confidence when overtaking, and the average speed naturally decreases. So, we can't really blame those elderly women on the road. I guess an ordinary person would also have trouble increasing the speed when lacking confidence). If the power were too strong, I'd have difficulty controlling the car. I'd always be afraid of hitting other cars when squeezing into traffic in the city. With excessive power, for the same driver, passengers are more likely to get motion - sick. And when you stomp on the accelerator, unless it's a rear - wheel - drive car, the tires of ordinary front - wheel - drive cars are prone to deviation. [Supplement: I'm not trying to criticize or praise any brand. In the current ordinary commercial passenger vehicle market, whether it's a gasoline - powered or electric vehicle, as long as it's front - wheel - drive, the tires are prone to deviation when you stomp on the accelerator. This is related to the fact that the drive shaft is not on the center line, which is a physical characteristic and can't be eliminated. It can only be slightly mitigated by adjusting the tire pressure or other methods. If you don't notice it, it may be because the starting torque is not large enough].
    2. Suspension Damping: It filters out small bumps well, such as small stones and potholes on urban roads. The filtering effect is quite excellent. However, it doesn't perform well on large potholes. Well, large potholes are hardly ever encountered. It's truly the king of urban family - use commuter vehicles.
