Review A
I happened to pick up the car with my girlfriend on May 20th. Now, I'll give a brief summary of my experience so far. First of all, when choosing the configuration, since I'm in Guangdong, which is as hot as Africa, and the 2023 model has a panoramic sunroof, plus I wanted to be practical and save money, I finally chose the YP Enjoy Edition. The functionality is really all about practicality, without any fancy add - ons. It's actually okay not to choose some configurations, and I don't think they're really necessary.
Here, I'd like to tell friends who have just switched or are about to switch to electric cars: Driving any car depends on the individual. Don't think that just because you've switched to an electric car, you'll always save energy. When I first got the car, I used the normal mode, low kinetic energy recovery, and set the air - conditioner to 22 degrees with a fan speed of 4 - 5. The energy consumption was around 20 - 30. The energy consumption of electric cars really depends on the environment. For example, in Guangdong, it's normal for the average energy consumption per 100 kilometers to be between 10 - 15.
After my experienced friend patiently analyzed it for me, now I'm used to setting the air - conditioner to 25 degrees via my phone 5 - 10 minutes before getting in the car. That way, it won't be hot when I get in, and then I can adjust the fan speed to the lowest level, which is usually enough. I usually drive in ECO mode with high kinetic energy recovery. At first, I wasn't used to it and even disliked the jerks during recovery. But after driving more times, my feet will remember. As long as I control my feet well, the jerks are about the same as when driving a gasoline car, and it's actually more hassle - free. In many cases, when there are no cars behind me, I don't even need to step on the brakes. I can just use the kinetic energy recovery to slow down (I still don't know if the brake lights will come on when using kinetic energy to slow down).
So far, my energy consumption is around 13 - 15, and I think I can still save more. Hahaha! To sum it up, in terms of the driving experience, driving the Enjoy Edition is not very different from driving a gasoline car. The only difference is that the cost is greatly reduced, and it doesn't give that "high - tech" feeling typical of electric cars. So, choosing the version really depends on the individual. If you're after more configurations, then go for the add - ons.

¡¾Space Performance¡¿
The space is truly impressive. A child and an adult can sit in the back row, and the child can even stand up and play.
¡¾Range and Energy Consumption¡¿
The over - estimation of the range of electric vehicles is quite serious. Last Spring Festival, I wanted to test if an electric vehicle was suitable for my trips when going back to my hometown. As a result, problems emerged right away: When I drove 1400 kilometers at a speed of 120 kilometers per hour, the average remaining range was only 220 kilometers, about 20% less than the stated range. Then I had to find a service area to charge the vehicle, and I didn't dare to let the battery level get too low. In many service areas, the vehicle can only be charged to 90 - 95%. It's really not suitable for long - distance highway driving. So in the end, I just obediently bought a fuel - powered car again. If driving on national roads, after driving for a year with a total of 60,000 kilometers, in summer, it can only run 380 - 400 kilometers under normal driving conditions. Unless you drive very gently at a speed of about 60 - 70 kilometers per hour, then it can reach about 450 kilometers.
¡¾Car - buying Experience¡¿
Previously, in Qingyuan, the deal was for lifetime maintenance. Later, when my wife went to Foshan to negotiate, there was a similar offer. But I didn't read the contract carefully when signing it, and it ended up being only 8 free maintenance services. This really disappointed me. Since I drive a lot, I've already used 6 times of maintenance services in a year. It feels like I've been short - changed ??
Another issue is that the tire pressure monitoring system often gives false alarms. Every time it goes off, it scares the hell out of me.
Review C
Everyone is quite familiar with the Aion. It has a square exterior. It depends on personal preference, but I still prefer this kind of square shape, which reminds me of a Wagon R I had nearly twenty years ago, a 1.4-liter one from 2006, also in the boxy style.
I think the interior workmanship is just average. Except for some parts wrapped in leather, most are made of hard plastic, nothing particularly outstanding, just mediocre. The first thing that catches your eye when you get in the car is this large screen. A 14.6-inch screen is quite good.
In terms of configuration, I chose the intelligent driving version. It should have all the necessary features. Except for the in - car camera and rear - side airbags, it has everything else. Although the panoramic sunroof makes the interior well - lit, it's not so comfortable in the over - forty - degree heat in Shijiazhuang in summer. Even though there's a sunshade, you still feel hot on your head. It's recommended to try applying a heat - insulating film. It has front airbags on both the driver and passenger sides, one - touch window control for all four doors, a 360 - degree camera, automatic wipers, automatic headlights, electric adjustment for the front driver and passenger seats, and the driver's seat has heating and ventilation functions. These configurations are quite practical.
I won't say much about the space. As everyone knows, it can be described with one word: "spacious".
Regarding the range, I bought the version with a 510 - kilometer range, and I've driven over a thousand kilometers. To sum it up briefly: when driving on the highway at a speed of 100 - 120 kilometers per hour, the range basically drops to 70%. When driving in the city with the air - conditioner on, in eco - mode and with low energy recovery, the range is generally between 75% and 80%. Personally, I recommend using high energy recovery, which can keep the range between 80% and 85%, and it should reach 90% in spring and autumn.
In terms of intelligence, I mainly bought it for the L2 - level assisted driving. I tend to get sleepy on the highway, and the adaptive cruise control can assist me in driving very well. The other day, I took a trip on the highway for more than two hundred kilometers and tried the assisted driving. It was really good and saved me a lot of energy. The in - car infotainment system is okay and can meet daily needs. My kids like to have voice chats with the in - car system as soon as they get in the car and ask it to tell stories.
The overall driving experience is above average, after all, considering the price. It's quite stable on the highway and okay when going downhill, thanks to its weight. The chassis can handle bumpy roads well. The acceleration response is also very timely, which is the advantage of electric vehicles.
I used to drive a Gm8 from the same brand and an ORA from Great Wall with a 310 - kilometer range. I felt that the ORA had a bit less space and a shorter range. After comprehensive consideration, I bought this car, and I don't think I made the wrong choice.
