Review A
[Things I'm satisfied with] I'm most satisfied with the stability and economy of this car. The power delivery is linear, and it drives very steadily. There's no feeling of weak power at all, which is very suitable for me. On the other hand, the configuration is proportional to the price. In fact, it's even a great deal for me. Moreover, this car can be used after charging, which is both convenient and cost - effective.
[Space] The space inside the car is quite tall. I'm 175 cm tall, and when I sit inside, there's still a distance of one or two fists between my head and the roof. The riding experience is really good.
[Driving experience] It drives very steadily. The power is smooth, and I think the chassis of this car is well - tuned, so it drives steadily.
[Appearance] The appearance is quite trendy. I guess it's a new fashion. I'm not very familiar with it, but most new energy vehicles seem to have this style, which is relatively simple and has a certain sense of technology. It's quite recognizable.
[Interior] The interior can't be called luxurious, but it looks okay. The areas that can be touched are all soft - wrapped, and there isn't much hard plastic used.
[Configuration] The Hongmeng large screen is really useful. Both the voice wake - up and touch functions are very sensitive.
Review B
The Geometry M6 can be regarded as an upgraded version of the Geometry C, with a more fashionable appearance. Look at this through-type position light with a welcome effect. Isn't it full of a sense of ceremony? It's just that the design looking like a pair of moustaches is a bit out of place. How could such a youthful front end "grow a moustache"? The 18 - inch sporty wheels, hidden door handles, and two - tone body are all very trendy elements. The car is 4432mm long with a wheelbase of 2700mm, and the side proportions are also very harmonious. The black roof, black spoiler, smoked through - type taillights, and black bumper make the blackened rear end both a bit wild and low - key.
Once inside the car, a 10.2 - inch instrument panel comes as standard across the range. Paired with the head - up display (exclusive to the top - spec model), the display effect is good. The 14.6 - inch large screen has the Huawei Hongmeng OS system built - in, featuring high resolution, smooth operation, and rich functions. If it's not enough, you can also download apps from the app market. Moreover, the Hongmeng cockpit is standard across the range. Considering the starting price of less than 150,000 yuan for the base model, it should be the cheapest model on the market equipped with the Hongmeng cockpit at present.
The drawback is that many commonly used functions are placed in the car system. For example, there are no physical buttons for air - conditioning adjustment and sunroof adjustment. Although this makes the center console neater and voice control can be used, physical buttons are sometimes more convenient. Another minor drawback is that although the steering wheel supports fore - and - aft adjustment, the adjustment range is only about three or four centimeters, which is barely useful. It can be a bit awkward for people like me with long legs and short arms.
Moving to the rear row, I'm 176cm tall. There's enough legroom and relatively ample headroom. There's a slight bulge in the center of the floor, but it doesn't have much of an impact. The rear seats are quite comfortable, but the top of the backrest protrudes outward, which pushes the upper back out, and that's a shortcoming. The trunk has a regular shape, and there's also a large - capacity hidden compartment underneath. Coupled with the fact that the rear seats support 40/60 folding, the loading capacity is no problem. The main issue is that the tailgate threshold is too high, with a large drop from the floor. You have to ask someone for help before moving heavy objects.
The M6 is quite easy to drive. There's a bit of free play in the steering, but after that, the front end responds quickly and has good directivity, which matches its lively appearance. The power is also abundant, with 150 kilowatts and 310 Nm of torque. The official 0 - 100km/h acceleration time is 6.9 seconds. One morning, the road was a bit slippery. When I accelerated hard at 80km/h, the front wheels slipped slightly, which is a bit ridiculous.
I'd give it 70 points for comfort. The advantage is that the suspension has a solid feel, and it's very stable when going over bumps. However, the suspension is on the firm side. Coupled with these 18 - inch tires, the vibration transmitted into the car is relatively strong. The sound insulation is average. The tire noise is obvious in daily driving, and the wind noise also gets quite loud when the speed reaches 80km/h.
Finally, let's talk about energy consumption. In the past two days of daily commuting, the displayed power consumption is a little over 15 kWh per 100 kilometers. Considering the 70 - kWh battery capacity and the 580 - kilometer CLTC range, the actual range is about 80% of the rated value, which is quite reasonable.
The market for pure - electric SUVs priced around 100,000 - 150,000 yuan is extremely competitive. Facing rivals like the BYD Yuan PLUS and Aion Y, I think the M6 has strong competitiveness in terms of intelligence, driving experience, and range, but there are still some details that need to be optimized.
Review C
Before buying the Geometry M6, I also asked many friends who had driven new energy vehicles. Brands like [a certain brand starting with Ma] and [a certain brand starting with Zha] had mediocre word - of - mouth after being driven for some time. Once, by chance, I took a ride in my friend's Geometry A and we started talking about how good Geely's new energy vehicles were. My friend said that apart from the slightly smaller space, Geely cars had no major problems. Especially the battery range was very real and highly praised. After that, I went to look at the Geometry C, but just then Geely launched the new M6. Its configuration and infotainment system had improved a lot, so I decisively chose the M6. The 14.6 - inch central control display was also quite decent. The white one I bought didn't seem as charming as the pink one, but after all, I'm a man, so it wouldn't be appropriate to buy the pink one. I believe that a brand can gain wide recognition through word - of - mouth.
[Space Performance]
The rear - seat space is indeed a bit small. People who are tall or have long legs will feel very uncomfortable. I have to say that this is not very user - friendly.
[Driving Experience]
The driving experience is good. The main thing is that I no longer have to worry about the cost when stepping on the accelerator. It can accelerate as quickly as needed. It can drive stably at 120 km/h on the highway. With a range of 450 kilometers, based on my daily commute, it can last for about a week. And it's perfect to invite friends to go fishing on weekends.
[Car - Buying Experience]
I'm also quite satisfied with the car - buying experience. Xiao Feng, the salesperson, is a very nice girl. She arranged a perfect delivery ceremony when I picked up the car and also gave me a lot of gifts.
