    [Car purchase experience] On the day of purchase, I compared several car models, including Geely 7, Deepal, V23, Li Auto, etc. My boyfriend recommended Leapmotor to me. Indeed, when I test - drove it, I found its lines were smooth. The color is Sky Grey, which makes it look very fashionable. I also quite like the orange interior.
    [Spatial performance]
    Generally speaking, it's very spacious. Both the front and rear seats are comfortable. The front seat can be laid flat at 180 degrees, and the trunk can hold a lot of things, such as camping equipment.
    [Endurance and energy consumption]
    Since I bought the extended - range version, it can switch between gasoline and electricity. I think it's quite convenient. I won't be anxious when the battery runs out as I can use gasoline.
    [Assisted driving]
    The automatic parking function is quite useful. I dare not use LCC and ACC. It's just that I personally don't trust them.
    [Intelligent cockpit]
    The voice recognition is quite sensitive, but it can't control the sunroof.
    [Charging time]
    It takes more than three hours to fully charge the battery from 30% with slow charging.

    I'm most satisfied with the appearance and interior. As a girl, I mainly care about the appearance and endurance.

    I think the sound system is a bit lacking. And there were no free gifts when I bought the car.

    # My Experience of Picking up My Car in 2025
    In July 2025, I finally got my first car! I'd been participating in the license plate lottery in Shenzhen for several years without success. Seeing that new energy vehicles were becoming more and more reliable, I decided to buy one!
    ¡¾Comparing Different Brands¡¿
    Before buying a car, I checked several brands on Dongchedi, including Leapmotor, BYD, Deepal, and XPeng. I first set the price range, then carefully studied the parameter configurations of each model, people's reviews, their advantages and disadvantages, and the real - life photos.
    After that, I went for test drives of several cars. My favorite was the Leapmotor C10.
    ¡¾Interior Design¡¿
    The overall interior design is in a simple and grand style, without any fancy stuff. It really suits my taste.
    ¡¾Exterior Design¡¿
    The car's appearance looks very imposing. The through - type front and rear lights are especially cool. When driving on the road, quite a few people would turn to look, which satisfied my little vanity. Hehe.

    I turned off the comfort braking stop function and set the regenerative braking to the weak mode. The braking is very linear, and there won't be any head - nodding situation!

    When driving in the urban area of Shenzhen, the power consumption is about 11 kWh. Some car owners can get it down to 10 kWh. I really envy their good driving skills. The C10 has a scheduled charging function. It only costs 0.4 yuan per kWh to charge after 12 p.m.
    ¡¾Intelligent Control¡¿
    The C10 can prepare the car in advance. You can turn on the air - conditioning to cool down, set up the seat ventilation and steering wheel heating in advance. It also has a 360 - degree and chassis camera system, and you can lock and unlock the car via Bluetooth or your phone.
    ¡¾Price¡¿
    I negotiated with the salesperson at the 4S store. If you buy the car now, you can enjoy a two - year interest - free loan from the manufacturer, which can save you four or five thousand yuan.     It's been half a month since I picked up my car. Let me share my experience of using it. I used to drive a 2012 manual Ford Focus. I didn't plan to change my car at first. Later, I learned that the replacement subsidy would end on July 31st. Coincidentally, I saw a dealership on Douyin saying they had in - stock cars, so I decided to change my car. Actually, I had been paying attention to the Leapmotor C10 for a long time. Right after the Spring Festival, I noticed that there were big discounts on the 2024 models. I was hesitating whether to wait for the 2025 models. Who would have thought that there were no 2025 models and it became the 2026 models directly. I had also paid attention to many other models before, such as Chery Fengyun T9, Deepal S07, and BYD Song. After comparing, I still preferred the exterior and interior of the Leapmotor.

    Driver assistance: I have to say it's really bad. On the highway, it can only be said to be just usable. The car tends to deviate from the lane (draw an irregular path), which I guess is related to the high - precision map. There are some sections where it doesn't deviate, but it's still much more comfortable than the Focus I used to drive.

    Infotainment system: The infotainment system seems too closed. There are basically very few applications. I even had to install QQ Music myself using a USB flash drive. But after installation, QQ Music can't be used in split - screen mode. I really don't understand it. The dash cam can only record the front view, which is even worse than the mid - trim models. There's no seat memory function, and you can't adjust the co - pilot seat angle on the central control screen. I hope there will be an OTA upgrade in the future.

    Driving experience: It's much easier to drive than my old car. There's no comparison between a manual - transmission car and an electric vehicle in terms of power. The braking doesn't feel very linear. The initial stage is too strong. Pressing the brake by 20% basically gives 50% of the braking effect. My old Focus felt more comfortable to brake. I can't feel any other obvious differences.

    Range and energy consumption: In the urban area, the range is basically around 400 kilometers. Since I only drive a few kilometers to work every day and always turn on the air - conditioner in advance, the energy consumption is relatively high. On the highway, the range is estimated to be around 430 kilometers. I think the range is a bit short. Fortunately, it's only more than 200 kilometers to my hometown, so it's basically enough. I usually drive aggressively, driving at about 120 - 130 km/h on the highway. It takes about 20 - 30 minutes to charge from 20% to 80% at a 120 - kilowatt charging pile.

    Comfort of the new car: I can give a positive review on this. The seats are large and soft. The ambient lights won't shine on the rear - view mirror when driving at night.

    Add - ons/modifications of the new car: The heat insulation is really poor. When I just picked up the car without window tinting, it was extremely hot. It got much better after I tinted the windows.

    Space of the new car: The space is totally different from my old car. The reason I bought the C10 was that I liked the fact that the front seats could be laid flat to form a bed, although I've never used it that way.

    Let me mention a few things I'm not satisfied with: 1. There are few applications in the infotainment system. You have to use a USB flash drive to install applications by yourself. There's no seat memory function, so you have to readjust the seat position every time you recline it. 2. The charging port is not well - sealed. There will be water inside when it rains a little. 3. The intelligent driving still has some drawbacks. The automatic lane - changing function is a bit stupid. Later, I turned it off. I hope these problems can be solved in the next OTA upgrade. These are all the things I can think of for now. I'll add more if I think of anything else later.
