Review A
My family and I had the idea of replacing our car at the beginning of the year when BYD led the price reduction wave. Seeing major automakers launching new energy models with lower fuel consumption and better driving experience; coupled with the fact that my second-hand Luxgen U6, which I had driven for ten years (yes, the "gas station partner" you mentioned), started to have some minor issues, so we planned to take advantage of this price reduction wave to buy a new car. Based on our family's conditions and the car market situation, we set our target for a plug-in hybrid SUV around 150,000 yuan. Thus, popular models like Song PLUS, Deep Blue S7, Galaxy L7, and Qiyuan Q05 all entered the candidate list. I originally planned to test-drive them one by one at 4S stores, but just happened to catch a local auto show, so my wife and I went directly to the auto show to look at cars. We walked around a lot, but the actual cars I had previously liked, such as Song, Galaxy, and Deep Blue, didn't impress my wife. Instead, she preferred a grand, tough, and off-road-style appearance. When we got to the Jetour booth, my wife immediately took a fancy to the spacious and tough-looking Shan Hai L9, saying this was her type. I saw that Jetour's trade-in incentives were quite strong, so my wife and I went to the 4S store for a test drive. We experienced the flexible and quiet driving feel of an electric vehicle, and it was overall very good. After discussing with my wife, we finally decided not to test-drive other brands and chose it directly.

【Car Buying Experience】
As my three children are growing older, the space in our original Citroën C2 is becoming increasingly small. So I started paying attention to seven-seater cars. I looked at Xingyue, Haoyue, L9, and also BYD Song. I liked the appearance of BYD Song the most, but unfortunately, it doesn't have a 7-seat version. After comprehensive consideration, I finally followed the advice of my "little car fan" son, who likes the "Tianshui Bi" color of L9 the most.
【Driving Experience】
Overall, the driving experience is relatively light, and the visibility is also very good. The power is sufficient and the body is large. When I first drove it, the contrast was very strong. It felt like driving a small car, but it's actually a large SUV. As a female driver, thanks to the 360° reversing image, reversing into a parking space is quite easy, but maneuvering parallel parking is more difficult.
【Space and Configuration】
This car is really big for a girl, and the internal space is very spacious, especially the rear row. When the last row is folded down to become a large 5-seater, the space is so big that the children tend to be naughty when sitting in the back. The 7-seat option for emergency use is still quite comfortable for a family. The only regret in terms of configuration is that there is no automatic parking.
【Fuel Consumption】
I usually drive in the urban area, and my one-way commute to work is only 2 kilometers, so I basically use pure electric mode. I only use fuel when going out shopping with sisters for long distances. So the overall fuel consumption is relatively low, usually around 5.3, and it went up to 5.6 when I drove on the highway once.
【Most Dissatisfying】
If you don't want to use fuel in winter, you have to charge more frequently. It would be better if the pure electric range was higher.
Review C
Choosing a car should start from one's own needs:
/ First are the hard needs: safety configurations, space requirements, and power needs. Basically, after confirming these three items, you can know what type of car you need.
/ Then it will extend to the most intuitive brand needs, appearance needs, assembly工艺 requirements, and even intelligent needs for vehicle-machine functions. This can basically determine the range of brands and models to choose from.
/ Next are some emotional conditions, such as interior color, ambient lights, seat comfort and包裹性, and in-car smell, which are relatively miscellaneous.
/ There are also some bonus items, which can also be understood as added comfort features, such as massage, zero-gravity seats, entertainment KTV, external power discharge, charging ports and even wireless charging.
/ Of course, in the end, it all comes down to the price. That is, under the premise of meeting the core needs, the one that can provide more emotional value in the same price range is the better choice.
There's no other reason for buying this car; I just needed to replace my old one. I have a 7-seat requirement, good power performance, and try to save fuel or energy consumption. Secondly, the budget is limited. After comprehensive consideration, although this car may not be the optimal solution, it is a suitable one, at least the family has no objections.
Four months after picking up the car, basic feelings:
1. Compared with fuel vehicles of the same power and weight, it is indeed more energy-efficient. The electric range meets about 70% of the standard (retaining about 10% battery). The fuel consumption is approximately 6.5 - 7 liters.
During fast charging, charging is frequent. Currently, after reaching 94%, false charging basically occurs (quickly reaching 97%/98% and then tripping). I wonder if other car owners have also encountered this.
2. The body is relatively large, with many blind spots in vision. Minor scratches and bumps are unavoidable, and the 360-degree camera video still feels not clear enough.
3. In the second month after picking up the car, I found that the movable seats in the second row had abnormal noises. I contacted the after-sales service station to apply for replacement and the problem was solved.
4. The central control screen had abnormal noises, and I also contacted the after-sales service station for inspection and troubleshooting. The after-sales service was quite responsible and responded quickly.
5. After the first OTA upgrade in early July, and in recent days approaching the first maintenance, a breakdown occurred while driving in hybrid mode, showing [Electric Drive System Error]. After contacting after-sales, they arranged on-site inspection and free towing back to the service station for processing. The reply was that the drive of the front motor needed to be upgraded (personally felt similar to刷ECU, not very clear), and the first maintenance was done by the way. The overall feeling is a bit depressing and unlucky....
