It's been basically just over two months since I picked up the car, and I've driven nearly 4,000 kilometers, including about 1,500 kilometers on highways and national roads (mountain roads). Let me talk about my feelings about Yaomei~
【Exterior】I bought the Squirrel Gray color. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with the exterior; it looks quite sleek. It feels like only the rear end has a bit of a "fastback" design. Some people might think it's sporty, but I personally think it's just average. Also, compared to the 24th model, the front face no longer has an air intake grille. I still prefer the previous 24th model.
【Interior】The interior is overall quite simple, which I personally like very much. It should be a circle of imitation leather with wooden decorative strips, which looks quite textured. Moreover, it still retains some physical buttons, which is a plus. Now many new energy vehicles have canceled these, but I think having these is more convenient, such as adjusting the air conditioning temperature and fan speed while driving without distraction.
【Space】The space is average among mid-size and large SUVs. The front and rear rows are basically okay. But precisely because of the "fastback" mentioned earlier, the trunk is a bit flat and seems crowded. When moving things recently, there were about two or three times when the trunk was not easy to close.
【Configuration】I bought the ultra-long-range four-wheel drive Pro version, and I'm generally satisfied with it, except for the Cooper tires. They slipped a few times on rainy days, and above 50/60 mph, the tire noise (and of course wind noise) is a bit loud. I talked to a friend before, who said that cars at this price range differ from higher-end models in details like sealing. I chatted with a salesperson at a store two days ago, and he said that in fact, there was a batch of four-wheel drive Pro versions that were replaced with Michelin tires due to insufficient tire quantity at that time, and driving them is still quite enjoyable, hahaha. Of course, after all, at this price, what I care most about is the driving experience, which is already very worthwhile.
【Driving Experience】Finally, the key point! This is what I care most about. The chassis quality and power performance of Yaoguang CDM are very good. It's basically a three-motor combination, and overall it's very powerful! I usually drive in the city in a laid-back manner unless I'm in a hurry, but the car's brake and accelerator responses are quick, and the steering is also very灵敏. I personally like to set the regenerative braking to high, so I can decelerate by松开 a little throttle, which is quite comfortable.
On the highway and the mountain roads on the way to Siguniang Mountain, the above aspects plus the workmanship of EXEED make the overall mechanical quality give me a lot of confidence and stability, whether I'm overtaking and changing lanes on the highway or climbing mountain roads. The high horsepower and torque brought by the three motors also give me confidence when getting out of trouble on unpaved roads and muddy roads. For me, this is the fun and original intention of driving.
【Range and Energy Consumption】This aspect is still acceptable. The full electric range is about 150 kilometers, the fuel tank is 65L, and a full tank of fuel can run about 1,000 kilometers. Because my longest one-way trip is about 400 kilometers, the comprehensive fuel consumption is about 5-6 liters per 100 kilometers, mainly in urban commuting and highways. I'm still quite satisfied, after all, the car weighs more than two tons.
【ADAS & Intelligent Cockpit】This is actually the most unsatisfactory part, which is the infotainment system with the 8155 chip. The voice interaction is a bit "retarded" at many times. Especially since I have test-driven the Zeekr 001 and Zhijie R7, which are higher-level SUVs, and recently also tried the Star Era ES/ET. The voice assistants of the first two models (200,000+ level) and EXEED's own models upgraded to the 8295 chip are much smarter, and continuous commands are also more practical. Moreover, my version does not have a lidar, which makes it slightly weaker in urban NOA compared to other models. By the way, the Star Era ES extended-range urban intelligent driving version can be bought for more than 170,000 yuan after discounts including national subsidies.
【Summary】From the experience of these two months, Yaomei is undoubtedly a good car. If you don't particularly care about functions like smart large screens and ADAS that are almost standard in new energy vehicles now, it's still a very good model. Of course, the sales volume is getting worse now. I hope it won't be discontinued in the future, hahaha.

2. Interior: Average, with a strong smell, and the brown color is not resistant to dirt.
3. Space: Sufficient space. For a person with height 175cm and weight 175kg, the seats can be adjusted freely. The rear seats are rarely used, and the space for the driver and front passenger is very ample.
4. Electricity consumption/Fuel consumption: Hybrid mode: Commuting mainly involves inner ring roads and highways, with a small part of urban roads, and about 6 kilometers of traffic jams every day. The daily round trip is about 60 kilometers, and the power consumption is about 30% (fuel consumption is almost negligible). Charging: Fast charging from 20% to 90% takes about 40 minutes.
5. Infotainment system: Chery's infotainment system is really poor, occasionally freezes, and the dual screen is ugly. What netizens said is basically true.
6. Driver assistance: The lane departure warning is a bit strict; if you change lanes without using the turn signal, there will be obvious automatic correction. The other warnings are also acceptable; you get used to them.
7. Range: No power shortage. The hybrid mode has been maintained with more than 20% power. Currently, it has driven more than 1,100 kilometers, charged 6 times, and the fuel tank was full when picking up the car. The fuel consumption shows 1.6L.

【Car Purchase Experience】
Due to regional reasons, I originally wanted to buy a fuel-powered car. At the National Day auto show, I looked at the four-wheel drive Chery Tiggo 9, Yaoguang, and Geely Xingyue L. At the new energy exhibition area, I experienced the front and rear seats of models such as AITO M9, BYD Tang, Seres ET, and Yaoguang CDM. After leaving the auto show, I went to Chery, BYD, Geely, and EXEED stores in the auto city for on-site inspections. Both of us liked the Yaoguang four-wheel drive, but the salesperson said that the fuel-powered Yaoguang had been discontinued and only the hybrid CDM was being produced now, so I hesitated.
After returning home, I searched on various platforms. The Yaoguang Electric Four-Wheel Drive released on September 26 caught my attention. Because I inquired about the price on the platform and left my contact information, another local store called soon and made an appointment for a test drive the next day.
When I arrived at the store the next day, since the Yaoguang Electric Four-Wheel Drive had just been released, there was no car in stock. I only test drove the two-wheel drive CDM and the pure electric version ET. My wife liked the large space of the ET very much when sitting in the car, but the断头式中控台 and personalized steering wheel were not to her liking. Moreover, the extended-range version only has two-wheel drive, and the pure electric version was not in consideration. The car arrived on November 5. The series of processes of inspection and pickup will not be repeated here. I have been driving it for a week now, commuting about 40 kilometers every day. The power, handling, chassis and other aspects are very good and perform excellently. The space is also acceptable. At least, with my height of 186 cm and weight of 95 kg, I don't feel the space is small when sitting in the main driver's seat, and my legs don't feel blocked by the center console. No problems have been found in a week, maybe the time is too short.
In short, the driving experience of the Yaoguang Electric Four-Wheel Drive is very great, and I like it very much.
