Review A

I really like the hatchback design; the exterior looks great from every angle. The interior is in Bordeaux Red, which I also love. The configuration is sufficient for me—there's no autonomous driving, and I don't need autonomous driving assistance when driving; I still rely on myself more. The overall space isn't large. I used to drive an old Q5 and a Mercedes-Benz S. Compared to those, the rear space of this car is just average. My wife, who is 175cm tall, only feels not cramped when sitting in the back. The usable trunk space is very small! If the luggage is too tall, the trunk can't close. The power is sufficient for a 2.5-ton car. With electricity, the fuel consumption is 5-6 liters per 100 kilometers; without electricity, it's 14 liters per 100 kilometers. If the charging mode is enabled, the fuel consumption is ridiculously high, and part of the engine power will be lost. Moreover, this car requires 98-octane gasoline. Domestic fuel quality isn't very good, and using 95-octane might trigger the engine fault light. The actual battery range is about 30 kilometers, which barely meets the needs of a day's commute in the city, but it requires charging every day. The switch between gasoline and electric power is smooth; apart from the sound of the engine starting and stopping, there's no other sensation. It's just that the 2.0 engine's sound isn't very pleasant. So far, there have been no problems after 20,000 kilometers. Cruising on the highway for 1,300 kilometers when going home for the Chinese New Year was very stable. When cruising on the highway, the motor basically doesn't work; it only kicks in during high-speed overtaking, and the power is readily available. However, it's hard to find 98-octane gasoline on highways in the north, so I have to mix 95-octane with fuel additives to make it to the destination.

Review B

The exterior and interior of the Cayenne are both classic and timeless. There is also an old pure gasoline Cayenne at home; its exterior is not as good-looking as the new model, especially the rear end. This generation of Cayenne is indeed very perfect. The pure gasoline Cayenne has better power. The hybrid is fuel-efficient but has顿挫 when switching between gasoline and electric modes, and the power is relatively poor when the battery is low. Overall, the pure gasoline version is more worry-free. I personally value appearance when buying a car. Plug-in hybrids were quite fashionable at that time, so I later bought the 2022 ES8 Pilot Edition, and the Cayenne was left unused. It has only been driven 20,000 kilometers in four years, and I only drive it when the NIO breaks down. I originally planned to keep it for highway driving, but now I drive the NIO on the highway too. Electric cars are really easy and worry-free to drive daily. With intelligent driving all the way on the highway and battery swapping, there's no range anxiety. I'll keep it for now; someone in the family will drive it eventually.

【Driving Experience】The Porsche Cayenne Coupé 2.0T E-Hybrid is powered by a 2.0T engine with a maximum power of 195kW and a maximum torque of 370N·m, along with a 100kW electric motor on the rear axle, resulting in a combined power output of 293kW and 650N·m. In terms of dynamic performance, the 2.0T PHEV delivers excellent low-speed responsiveness and power perception thanks to the electric motor's instant torque delivery. It also features a Sport Plus mode that fully unleashes the performance of both the motor and engine, making the overall power output more "aggressive". Notably, it should be equipped with an electronic brake system with regenerative braking, so the initial braking phase may rely on regenerative braking, with the brake system only介入engaging in the mid-to-late phase. This creates a different pedal feel compared to traditional brakes, requiring some adaptation. In terms of the chassis, the entire Porsche Cayenne series now comes standard with a dual-chamber, dual-valve air suspension. Compared to the previous three-chamber, single-valve setup, the dual-chamber, dual-valve system offers greater differentiation between comfort and handling—providing enhanced comfort in daily driving modes and more sporty handling in sport modes. This enhances Porsche's signature balance between comfort and performance, which the single-valve air suspension couldn't achieve with such "polarization". Personally, the slightly uncomfortable aspect is the high-speed steering feel. During low-to-medium speed cornering, the car exhibits excellent steering precision, with even a slight one or two-degree turn resulting in clear directional changes, making cornering feel quite intuitive. However, at high speeds, the steering feel is personally perceived as too light, with a relatively large dead zone in the center, somewhat reminiscent of an Audi. Additionally, in Sport mode, the steering effort is even lighter, though the dead zone is narrower—perhaps a consideration for steering agility?
