The Changan X5 PLUS has strong power and acceptable fuel consumption. The fuel tank feels a bit small, showing 800km range when full. High-speed wind noise is relatively loud, and adding sealing strips didn't help much. The in-car app store has only 3 downloadable apps, too few options. Sound system is great with good sound quality, but the music app requires a membership; otherwise, most songs can only play the beginning. There's no FM radio, only internet radio, which is unfriendly for radio lovers.

I originally planned to buy the Changan UNI-V but found the second-generation model unappealing. I also considered Haval Big Dog and Geely Boyue L, with my family preferring the Big Dog. When test-sitting the UNI-V, my strained back felt uncomfortable despite adjusting the seat. I then tried the Changan X5 PLUS next to it; its sport seats were much more comfortable. After negotiating and test-driving, I chose the X5 PLUS, which cost 91,000 yuan to land (3,000 yuan more than the UNI-V). Now with nearly 10,000 km driven, it's sturdy (proven in a minor collision). There's noticeable顿挫 at under 40 km/h, but as a dual-clutch, it suits aggressive driving and is better than my old Buick. The X5 PLUS looks stylish, has sufficient power (reached 170 km/h on the highway), and handles adequately for an SUV.

I'm really satisfied with the Changan X5 PLUS's appearance, which perfectly matches my aesthetic. The interior is average; the air vents are positioned low, making it hard for cool air to reach the face in summer, and the small left screen is not very useful. The space is adequate for daily use. The动力 is strong enough for urban driving in Eco mode and provides a noticeable push-back feeling in Comfort mode on highways. The fuel consumption is around 7-8L/100km, though it can be as low as 5L when maintaining 70km/h. The panoramic camera is helpful for new drivers but not very clear. The exterior voice control is unnecessary and embarrassing, so I turned it off immediately. However, there are some drawbacks: significant tire noise above 100km/h, occasional blackouts of the infotainment screen, obvious gear shift顿挫 at low speeds, soft suspension causing body lean during sharp turns, and the rear seats not folding completely flat.
