I am most satisfied with the Dongfeng Forthing Fengxing M7, its first mid-to-large automatic MPV. The exterior features a large grille and the new "Dynamic Lion" logo, with a smoked horizontal grille adding层次感. The interior has a traditional T-shaped dashboard in black and brown, using搪塑 and soft materials, with leather-wrapped door handles. The seats are comfortable with 360° rotation, electric adjustment and massage. It is equipped with a 2.0T engine + 8AT gearbox, delivering 224 horsepower with linear power output. The official combined fuel consumption is 9.8L/100km, which is slightly high despite improved power. The McPherson front suspension and five-link rear suspension with anti-roll bar effectively absorb road bumps for a smooth ride.

After comparing many MPVs, I chose the Dongfeng Forthing Fengxing M7 2.0 Marquis version mainly for its large space. Its 2.0T engine delivers strong power, paired with an 8AT gearbox for smooth driving. The steering is accurate, throttle responsive, and acceleration smooth. The front seats are wide and comfortable with good visibility; the second-row seats can rotate, and the third-row can fold flat to form a large bed or create extra space. It has reasonable rear AC vents, a moderate price, and high cost-effectiveness, ideal for road trips. Drawbacks: slightly high fuel consumption and only light-colored interior available.

What I'm most satisfied with about the Dongfeng Forthing Fengxing M7 Leading Lord Edition is its upgraded 2.0T+8AT powertrain, which offers significantly improved performance and convenience compared to the 1.8T manual version, giving it an edge over competitors. The engine delivers ample power from the start, and the 8AT transmission shifts smoothly, prioritizing comfort as a MPV should, though shift speed isn't very fast. The interior space is a highlight, with 3250mm*1560mm*1280mm dimensions, providing 1拳 of headroom for all three rows and generous legroom. The downside is the higher price, and the brand and product reputation need time to build.
