Review A

I've had the car for a while now, and today I want to talk about my experience using it these days—both the good and the bad, which might serve as a reference for those interested.

The first thing I have to complain about is definitely the original horn—it sounds just like a scooter's horn, muffled and scattered. When I honk while changing lanes in the city, the cars next to me don't even turn their heads. I replaced it with a snail horn a few days after picking up the car, and now the sound when I press it is powerful enough, giving me a bit more sense of security. Also, sometimes the car infotainment system isn't very responsive when waking it up, and I have to call out a few times, but there's a button on the steering wheel that I can press instead.

The power is really a pleasant surprise, much stronger than my previous 1.8L old car. It's like upgrading from a musket to a cannon. Before, overtaking required spotting an opportunity in advance and flooring the gas to get enough power, but now I just need to lightly press the accelerator, and the revs rise immediately. Overtaking a big truck on the highway is quick and clean, no longer having to hold my breath and wait anxiously.

The spaciousness is one of my most satisfying aspects. We've gone camping twice. By folding down the rear seats and laying out a mattress, it transforms into a temporary small bed. Even at 1.75 meters tall, I don't bump my legs when lying down and can turn over freely, which is far more comfortable than curling up in a tent. Normally, when three people sit in the back, there's still about two fists of space between their knees and the front seats. The trunk can accommodate two large suitcases plus a bunch of camping gear with room to spare.

The sound quality of the in-car audio is just average. The bass isn't very deep, and the treble isn't particularly crisp, but it's adequate for listening to pop songs or the radio during my daily commute. After all, I'm not an audiophile, so my standards aren't that high.

Last time I went mountain driving, I really got to know its temperament. The winding mountain road revealed its character perfectly. When following another car, the throttle response was linear without any jerkiness. When encountering a slower vehicle and needing to overtake, all it took was spotting a straight stretch—a firm press on the accelerator delivered instant power. Post-overtaking, the steering wheel straightened with reassuring stability. The real surprise came in the corners—the steering offered precise directionality, translating inputs exactly as intended with well-controlled body roll. Navigating sequential curves felt like "drawing arcs," delivering smooth, genuinely enjoyable driving dynamics.

The intelligent ICC (Integrated Cruise Control) operates steadily overall, though occasional moments still leave me slightly uneasy—particularly on straight urban roads where it sometimes brushes against solid lane markings before correcting. This can feel mildly unsettling. Perhaps it's simply a matter of acclimatization over time.

Overall, after driving it these days, although there are minor annoyances like the horn, the power, space, and handling all meet my needs. It gets more comfortable to drive the more I use it, and it's a good car. I'm planning to install mud flaps recently because when driving on muddy roads, mud splatters on the inner side of the doors, which is very inconvenient.

Review B

【Least Satisfied】
The charging power is a bit slow. Fortunately, the battery is 18.74 kWh, and it takes about 40 minutes to charge once, which is acceptable.
【Space Performance】
The space is definitely large enough! I'm 1.78 meters tall, and when I sit in the back row, I can even stretch my legs straight, let alone cross them.
【Charging Time】
Usually around 50 minutes.
【Most Satisfied】
1. The space is large enough; the rear seats can be folded down to make a bed. On May 30, I went to Mount Wutai and stayed in the car in Wutai County for a night, which was a great experience.
2. The turning radius is small, making it very flexible.
3. The vehicle's infotainment system is particularly easy to use.
4. The power is strong; on the highway, accelerating from 120 km/h to 160 km/h is responsive with a press of the accelerator.
5. Four-wheel drive HI4: the second-generation Xiaolong MAX uses four-wheel drive below 30 km/h when starting in standard mode. I usually use sports mode (permanent four-wheel drive). My thinking is, since I bought a four-wheel drive vehicle, I might as well use full-time four-wheel drive.
Of course, there are many other advantages that I won't go into detail one by one. In short, the second-generation Xiaolong MAX is definitely worth buying.

Review C

I compared many cars and gradually clarified my needs during the process, shifting from sedans to SUVs. The four-wheel drive and space of this car are the reasons for my choice.

First, the advantages: 1. Appearance and interior are a matter of personal preference, and I am very satisfied. 2. The off-white interior feels very comfortable when sitting in. Whether it is stain-resistant remains to be seen; after all, I just picked it up a few days ago. It's a pity that there is only one phone slot. The instrument panel looks much better than Yadi's screen. I bought the display car, so there is no peculiar smell; I don't know about new cars. 3. The space is quite satisfactory. The rear row is spacious, and the trunk capacity is also large, but the floor is a bit high. 4. The seats are soft and very comfortable to sit on. 5. The dynamic performance is also great. The four-wheel drive power is immediately available when you step on the accelerator, and the chassis feels quite comfortable, not so sporty, more family-oriented. 6. The intelligence is decent. Voice commands are understood quickly, and multiple commands can be executed rapidly. I haven't used the intelligent driving as my family members are afraid to use it, but the intelligent parking is very useful. 7. Many physical buttons are retained, which is a plus. 8. The 4S shop service is very good, which is a plus!

Then the disadvantages, similar to what other posts online have mentioned: 1. The reversing speed is too fast. 2. The brakes have a slight nod. The automatic parking brake requires a hard step. It has improved after running-in, but still needs some force. 3. The 360-degree image freezes when just starting up, but it gets better after a few seconds. 4. The dashcam only records the front, not the rear, and there is no sentry mode. It is also uncertain about subsequent OTA updates. 5. The sound insulation is slightly inferior. When playing music inside the car, it can be heard loudly outside, but the noise during driving is okay, and you basically don't notice it when playing music. 6. The urban electricity consumption is a bit high, maybe related to just picking it up, 21 - 25.
