Changan CS85 Coupé

I am most satisfied with the Changan CS85 COUPE's BMW X6-like design, making my coupe dream come true at a price of over 100,000 yuan. The biggest dissatisfaction is the serious reflection of the lower screen, which is basically inoperable under the sun and sometimes affects driving safety. The exterior is stylish and elegant with high visibility, especially in red, often attracting people to ask about the car. The interior materials are generous, and the seats are soft and comfortable. The rear legroom is sufficient, and the headroom, with hollow processing, is okay for average-sized passengers but may be tight for taller ones. I like the 540-degree panoramic imaging system, which can be turned on at any time, making driving easier, and with some driving assistance systems, safety is enhanced. The power has a quick start response and strong acceleration in the first half, but mid-to-late acceleration is not as easy, though the 2.0T engine has sufficient power reserve. The steering feel is light with some play, which is fine for family use.

The Changan CS85 COUPE has an eye-catching sporty exterior with a blackened irregular grille featuring dot matrix elements, red trims, "S" logo, unique headlights, connected taillights via chrome strip, and quad exhausts. Its interior boasts a striking red-black color scheme, a 7-inch LCD instrument cluster, 12.3-inch infotainment screen, and high-end configurations like 360° panoramic camera, transparent chassis, voice control, and panoramic sunroof in the 1.5T top trim. The 1.5T Blue Core engine delivers 138kW (up from 131kW), while the 2.0T version offers stronger power than competitors like Haval H6S and Xingyue S, satisfying speed needs. With unique design, great value for money, and improved 2023 model, it's worth buying.

I am satisfied with the Changan CS85 COUPE. Its coupe-style SUV body looks stylish and dynamic, with more refined details after the facelift. The 1.5T engine offers good acceleration but with high fuel consumption (9.8L/100km in daily driving vs. WLTC's 7L). The interior has extensive leather wrapping and better materials than joint-venture cars. It is richly equipped with active safety features like automatic emergency braking and 360° camera, and tech configurations surpass peers. However, the overall appearance is somewhat fierce, the exposed wiring near the co-pilot feels unsafe, the infotainment system occasionally lags or freezes, and wind and tire noise become noticeable above 80km/h. There is currently no cash discount.
