Review A
Regarding power: The power is more than enough for city driving. In sport mode, the acceleration is very fast, no worse than that of a typical 1.4T engine. In economy mode, the car feels sluggish, and the jerks are very obvious, especially when applying the brakes. It's a great car for city commuting and has no problem on regular inter - city highways.
Regarding range: In summer, you can use the air - conditioner freely. I drove for over three hours with the AC on and listening to music, and the battery only dropped by 5%. Usually, the first or second gear of the AC is cool enough. In the city during summer, the estimated range is about 350 kilometers. It's a different story in winter in the north as I haven't tested it. On the highway, the battery drains much faster, with an estimated range of about 300 kilometers. For charging, it takes about thirty - odd hours to fully charge from 0 with slow charging. With fast charging, it can reach 50% in half an hour, but there's some false charge, and it's actually only about 40%.
Regarding the interior: The interior is just average. Even the top - of - the - line model is mostly made of plastic. Fortunately, the color scheme is good, making it look quite comfortable. The functions are also very powerful and can meet daily needs. The sunroof on the top - of - the - line model has good lighting and is large enough. The panoramic view camera is also very convenient, and the airbags and curtain airbags make it safer. If you patiently choose some additional interior accessories, the ride can be quite comfortable. A colleague who drives a Mercedes said this car is also comfortable to sit in, and the sound system is good. (I bought a ventilated seat cushion because my butt and back tend to get sweaty in summer. I also bought a steering wheel cover and spent three hours installing it myself. The overall effect is okay. The worst part of the interior is the steering wheel, which is made of plastic, small and thin, with a terrible feel. I strongly recommend covering it yourself).
Other configuration improvements: I asked an acquaintance to apply a window film. It's very hot in Haikou, so a heat - insulating film is necessary. It can also protect from the sun and provide good privacy for the side windows. It depends on personal needs. I didn't use the window - film coupon given by the 4S store. Instead, I used it as a discount for crystal coating because the paint of the Yuan Pro is relatively thin. The crystal coating cost 400 yuan in labor. The 4S store will install the chassis armor when you buy the car. The Yuan Pro has a high chassis, so it's not easy to scrape in the city.
Regarding the double - points program: First, make sure the ID information and phone number used for purchasing the car are the same as those in your registered information. Second, you must complete the binding before the invoice is issued; otherwise, you won't get the points. After binding and getting the invoice, you need to complete the vehicle - owner verification. The points will be credited to your account within three days after verification and can be exchanged for some gifts.
Review B
Appearance:
Personally, I really like the spare tire carrier at the back. Most people may not like it, but when I was in school, I was really fond of the old - style RAV4 with a spare tire carrier. Later, as I grew up, the current RAV4 doesn't have it anymore. It can be regarded as a tribute to the classic. There's nothing special about other parts. The LED headlights are quite bright and are completely sufficient for daily driving in the urban area.
Interior:
There are quite a lot of hard plastics in the interior. But considering the price, it's still acceptable. The gear lever has a texture similar to piano lacquer. The seats are white and not very stain - resistant. I only bought seat cushions and didn't buy backrest cushions. I thought it would be a real pity if I never sat on the original seats of a car worth about 100,000 yuan until it was scrapped.
Configuration:
The configuration of this car is really high. It has a panoramic sunroof and all that. However, it only has a tire pressure alarm instead of a tire pressure monitoring system. The tire pressure alarm calculates the wheel speed difference through ESP. It detects that one wheel rotates slower than the others and then judges that there is a tire leak. This method is not very accurate and prone to false alarms. Even if there is a leak, it's usually too late. So after picking up the car, I immediately placed an order on Tuhu for a tire pressure digital display monitoring system.
[Charging Time]
Since I picked up the car, I've been using a slow - charging pile at home. I plug it in when I get home and set it to start charging after 0:00 at night. It will definitely be fully charged before 7:00 in the morning. I don't really worry about the range.
[Range]
I'm from Wuxi, Jiangsu. Winters here are not very cold. Normally around 0¡ãC, the full - charge range is about 300 kilometers without turning on the air - conditioner. If the heater is on, it's about 200 kilometers. I drive quite aggressively, so the power consumption might be a bit high. This morning when I went out, the temperature was 5¡ãC. Driving a bit more gently, it only consumed the equivalent of 17 kilometers of power for a one - way 26 - kilometer trip, achieving a ratio of 1:1.5. The full - charge range is quite good, but the lower the battery level, the more inaccurate the range indication.
[Most Dissatisfied]
What I'm most dissatisfied with is probably the car's infotainment system. The OTA updates are like a joke and there are never any actual updates. For example, the turning sound could be made to be like that of the Dolphin through OTA, with a more textured "beep - beep - beep" sound. You can't open the windows remotely. Other than that, I think the sound insulation and shock absorption are quite good.

[Car Purchase Experience] Reasons for buying the Yuan Pro:
Originally, I planned to buy the Yuan Plus. However, since I needed a car urgently, I compared the Dolphin and the Yuan Pro. Ordinary consumers can't feel the advanced technologies of the Dolphin when driving, and its body is a bit lower. The driving quality seems worse than that of the Yuan Pro. Moreover, its appearance is extremely ugly. Most importantly, there was no available Dolphin at that time. If there had been, I would definitely have taken it. But I couldn't get one and had to make a reservation. So I picked up the Yuan Pro and drove it home on the same day!
[Overall Impression]:
High cost - performance! It's cheap and practical! It's suitable as a second car for the family! If it's used for commuting, it's completely fine to drive in the city. However, when driving long - distance on the highway, it consumes a lot of electricity, so you need to plan the mileage and charging plan!
Personally, I'm more concerned about the portability of daily charging.
If you can install a charging pile at home, with a charging power of 7kW, it can be fully charged overnight! This will make the cost of using the car extremely low! It also supports DC fast charging at 120kW and slow charging at 1.4kW through a household socket!
[Appearance]:
Appearance is, to a large extent, the key factor determining whether most people will buy a car! If there had been an available Dolphin at that time, I would definitely have taken it. I feel a bit sorry about its appearance! The Yuan Pro adopts the Dragon Face 3.0 exterior design, and it has an SUV body with a small spare - tire carrier on the back. It looks both cute and fierce. The white body doesn't seem particularly small and is quite endearing.
Yesterday, I went to the store to have the Yuan Pro filmed. I found that the Yuan Plus had already arrived at the store. I heard from the salesperson that it will be launched in May, and if I want to buy it, I'll have to wait until the end of the year. So when my first choice was not available, I had to choose the Yuan Pro!
[Interior]:
I think it's okay and usable! It doesn't have as many controversies as the Yuan Plus. There's no need to spend time convincing my family regarding the interior.
[Configuration]:
It can control the air - conditioner by voice, turn on WiFi and mobile data, and play songs, so there's no need to look down to operate, which can improve driving safety. But it can't control the window opening by voice. I wonder if it will be upgraded in the future!
[Power]:
When driving in the urban area and on the ring - road highway, I can unconsciously reach 120 km/h. The car drives very stably. At 120 km/h, I don't feel the speed is very fast. I guess it's related to the difference in the state of the fuel - powered cars I drove before!
[Space Performance]:
Compared with the Dolphin and the Yuan Plus I saw at the 4S store yesterday, the Yuan Pro has the worst space among the three. The seating space is okay, but the storage space is too small.
[Endurance]:
In Chengdu, the temperature has been around 10 degrees lately (January 28, 2022). I drove 70% of the time on the ring - road highway and the Xia - Rong Highway. When the endurance reached 180 km, there was still 20% of the battery left, which is quite different from driving in the urban area on ordinary days. It rained yesterday. I guess it's related to using the windshield wipers and the air - conditioner for heating and defogging!
[Intelligence]:
As I've mentioned above, I won't repeat it. Voice can control basic functions like playing music and turning on the air - conditioner. It's a pity that it can't control the windows.
[Driving Experience]:
As I also mentioned before, after comparing with the Dolphin, I personally feel that the driving experience of the Yuan Pro is more stable and better!
[Charging Time]:
1. It comes with a 7kW charging pile, and it takes 8 hours to fully charge;
2. With a 1.5kW household socket, it can only charge 30% overnight, and it takes about 35 hours to fully charge;
3. With an external fast charger, it can be fully charged in half an hour.
