Exterior: Everyone says the front face looks like a certain brand, and I don't deny that. But I want to say there are still differences. For example, the segmented daytime running lights are different, and the engine hood has sporty line designs. The side and rear have the same sportiness as the Jetour family and X70 series. The rear is relatively narrow and翘起. So I disagree with saying it completely copied the design of that brand just by looking at the front face. Moreover, look at the sales volume of that brand; what's wrong with drawing lessons from designs that the public likes and catering to their preferences? There's also Porsche's classic comment: "Good designs always have a telepathic connection." Besides, I think the appearance isn't the focus; the focus is on the two-speed DHT and the powertrain.
Driving experience: The key point is the power performance. This is a two-speed plug-in hybrid DHT model with a P2+P3 motor architecture. These two motors can decide who outputs power and who generates electricity according to different working conditions, or work together when you step on the accelerator deeply to prepare for rapid acceleration, theoretically capable of bursting out 199 kW of strong power. It also uses Chery's 1.5T hybrid-dedicated engine. In hybrid mode with sufficient battery power, when you step on the accelerator deeply, this 115 kW engine will output power together with the two motors.
The advantage of the two-speed DHT, I think, is that the engine can intervene in direct drive at medium and low speeds. For example, when we were in the mountainous areas of Guizhou, where we often encounter many long winding mountain roads during short trips. On such roads with many sharp bends and uphill sections, we usually drive at 40-50 km/h. The two-speed DHT can intervene in power output at around 50 km/h. The low-speed torque and fuel economy are definitely much better than single-speed! I don't really understand much either; I'm just sharing some things I thought of or personally felt. If there's anything I said wrong, I hope everyone can correct me.
In terms of driving feel, after all, this is a mid-size SUV with a starting price of 120,000 yuan. After driving it for half a month, the feeling is that the steering is precise, and the chassis tuning is sport-oriented. By sport-oriented, I mean it's slightly stiffer. But when passing speed bumps, there's no excessive shaking, the rebound is well controlled, and the body roll suppression is also satisfactory. It can hold steady. However, when driving on unpaved roads with many gravels, the road feel is a bit obvious and not filtered very well.
Space: When it comes to space, first we need to clarify that this is just a mid-size but somewhat compact SUV under 4.8 meters. I bought the 7-seat top configuration version, and the space performance can only be said to be sufficient (usually used as a 5-seater, 7-seater for emergencies), which meets my usage needs (two children under three years old and four adults).
The front seats have ventilation, heating, and electric adjustment. The seat thickness and support are good. The second-row space is also sufficiently spacious, and the overall riding experience of the second-row seats is good. I am 175 cm tall, and when the main driver's seat is adjusted to my comfortable position, there is still a little more than two fists of distance between the second row and the front row, so the space is okay. Compared with a certain Yun T9, the seat cushion is thicker and longer. There are also disadvantages. The middle position of the second row has severely compressed the legroom of the rear middle passenger due to the refrigerator赠送 by the manufacturer. Passengers sitting in the middle can only sit with their feet spread apart. In addition, the backrest of the middle position has a hidden armrest design, and the backrest is relatively hard, which can be improved by adding a headrest.
Then let's take a systematic look at the space performance of the front, middle and rear rows. With the main driver's seat unchanged, and slightly sacrificing the second row to adjust it to a space of 2-3 fingers from the knees, I can sit in the last row. It definitely won't be very comfortable, but if only one person sits in the third row, leaning sideways can make it more comfortable. Moreover, the trunk has a 220V power socket, which means you can fast charge your mobile phone or computer in the back row. In that case, I think a little smaller space doesn't matter.

I am very satisfied with and like the color and exterior design very much; secondly, a seven-seater car is really suitable for large families, and the cost performance is very high. Overall, there are still many advantages, mainly that the 2-speed DHT is more appealing than the T9. If I talk too much about the advantages, it will seem like flattery, so let me just mention a few pain points: First, I think the infotainment system can be upgraded when turning, like the Fengyun T9. For new drivers, it would be enough to see the left and right positions of the front wheels. I think this infotainment system is not clear enough and cannot be adjusted; it would be better if it could be adjusted. Then, for accessing the third row, I think we can learn from the design of the Fengyun T9. Adding electric adjustment would be better. A heads-up display could also be added; I quite like that. Secondly, the most important point!!! The battery protrudes at the bottom. There are really almost no other缺点. This is probably the only place that wasn't done well. Let's look at the next few pictures of the缺点. If you can accept these, then there's really no problem; it's really great. Then I will continue to pay attention to the range to see if it lives up to its name. To be honest, if you can accept these points, then really, before 2024, unless it's the Leapmotor C16, you should buy the Jetour. There's really no comparison, mainly because of the high cost performance.

[Space Performance]
I think it's okay as a compact car. The third row is fine for emergency use. Maybe this is a common problem with SUVs; the third row is always cramped. If you really want comfort, just buy an MPV. Both the C16 and T9, like the Jetour, have cramped third rows.

[Range and Energy Consumption]
Charging 100 yuan allowed me to drive 400 kilometers, and I recharged about 25% of the battery. 125/400 = 0.3125 yuan per kilometer. I'll check the fuel consumption recently. I haven't tested how far it can run on pure electric yet. We are in a mountainous area here, so I'll observe again in a few days. Secondly, a fellow car owner told me that he can get 5.8L/100km at 90 km/h. I drive in the city in smart battery hold mode, and it's between 6.5 and 7.5L/100km. The average in the city is 7 liters per 100 kilometers. I'll see more details after driving more. But driving between 60 and 90 km/h is indeed very fuel-efficient.

[Driver Assistance]
I feel there aren't many assistance functions; I don't have much of a feeling. I don't think I've used the L2-level assistance much, after all, it's my first car in life. I bought a bunch of things I thought would be useful, but actually, they aren't used. If there were intelligent driving functions available, I would definitely get them.

[Smart Cockpit]
I think it's just average. The Fengyun T9 does a better job in this aspect. Maybe this car cut these parts to be cheaper.

[Charging Time]
It can basically charge to 80% in half an hour; just take a nap.

[Most Dissatisfied]
The battery is small, and the actual range is only 120 kilometers. I wonder if in the future with the development of the times, the battery can be replaced with a solid-state battery. If it can be replaced with a 400-kilometer solid-state battery, it will be directly invincible, easily outperforming others.

Positive Reviews of the New Car
In my eyes, the Jetour Shanhai L7 really has many shining points. However, what I am most fascinated by is its spacious seven-seat space and the high-appearance star ring headlights.

Negative Reviews of the New Car
After driving the Jetour Shanhai L7, I feel that its handling experience is relatively average. The suspension system of this car is tuned to be on the stiff side, and during the test drive, the shock absorption effect was obviously unsatisfactory. Sitting in the car, you can feel the bumps strongly.

Space
In the long run, a seven-seat model is undoubtedly more in line with the actual needs of our family. This car adopts a three-row seat design, and the spacing between the rows is relatively reasonable, which can accommodate the whole family to ride together without appearing crowded at all.

Driving Experience
The flexibility of this car exceeds expectations, and it is not as bulky as imagined when driving. Its 1.5T engine has sufficient power performance, which is enough to meet daily use needs. However, the shock absorption effect of the car's suspension system is not particularly excellent.

Range
The pure electric range of the Jetour Shanhai L7 can fully meet my daily short-distance travel needs, and charging is very convenient. In addition, this car also supports hybrid mode, so that even for long-distance driving, there will be no range anxiety. It supports fast and slow charging. The fast charging time is about 18 minutes from 30% to 80% battery; the slow charging time is about 3 hours. Such charging configurations can meet users' charging needs in different scenarios, facilitating daily use and power replenishment during long-distance travel.

Exterior
The exterior of the Jetour Shanhai L7 presents a simple but by no means simple design style. On the whole, it gives people a very exquisite, fashionable and atmospheric look, especially the three-section star ring headlights. I have to say that this car matches my temperament very well.

Interior
The interior of the Jetour Shanhai L7 is quite conscientious. On the one hand, the interior materials are quite particular, and on the other hand, the workmanship is also extremely careful. Sitting in the car, you will feel a warm, comfortable and high-grade atmosphere. It continues the interior style of the X70 PLUS. Anyway, I like it very much, especially the button design is very suitable for me.
