Review A

The Latte DHT PHEV is my second car, and also my second WEY. The reason for choosing WEY again is simple: I liked it because I've driven it before.

The previous VV5 had a great driving experience and a high safety factor. I believe many people have seen the video of the VV7 rolling over at high speed and falling off the bridge. In such a major accident, the people inside the car were not seriously injured. WEY gives people a strong sense of security, and it can also be seen that its materials and craftsmanship are indeed solid. Moreover, Great Wall Motors is an established car company with profound heritage and a down-to-earth approach to building cars. I have also looked at cars from those new car-making forces. Some of their services are indeed more considerate than WEY's, but what I mainly use when buying a car is the car itself, so the focus is still on the car itself.

The main reasons for switching from the VV5 to the Latte are: I sold my family's ORA electric car, oil prices are also high, and a new family member has been added. Facing the triple pressure of license plate restrictions, high oil prices, and the slightly small space of the VV5, I decided to change cars. I've had the car for nearly a month now, so I'll evaluate it.

■ I. Exterior ■
It's trendy yet steady, perfect for someone in their thirties to drive. The Vanilla Latte color is very nice, a fresh color that catches the eye. It's not very green; from a distance, it looks more like a high-end silver color, and it will be more beautiful against the surrounding green trees and blue sky.

■ II. Interior ■
The coffee brown interior is overall simple and elegant, making the car look spacious and bright. The only downside is that the top of the center console is also light-colored, but it's much better after applying a film, and now it doesn't affect daily driving. I bought a black mat but haven't laid it yet.

■ III. Configuration ■
I chose the two-wheel drive "Super Large Cup" trim. If possible, I recommend choosing the "Super Large Cup" because the seat massage and boss button of the "Super Large Cup" are quite practical and are often used in daily car use. In addition, I added a streaming media rearview mirror. The previous VV5 I drove came standard with streaming media, which is very convenient to use, especially suitable for observing road conditions when changing lanes, making U-turns, or steering, and in situations where street lights are insufficient at night.

■ IV. Space ■
The space in both the front and rear rows is not small. A fat person who is 180cm tall and weighs 230 jin said it was very spacious when sitting in the back row. The trunk is super spacious. After having a baby, there are more things to take when going out. The stroller can be put into the trunk vertically without any problem. Taking wine boxes as an example, the bottom layer can hold 3 rows.
My favorite thoughtful space designs: the storage space under the front gear lever, which is convenient for placing large car water cups; the small storage space in front of the left side of the steering wheel, which is convenient for placing documents and change; the hook above the B-pillar is convenient for hanging items.

■ V. Range ■
The pure electric range is 184km. Usually, the daily commuting distance in the city is 20km, so charging once a week is enough. The fuel consumption on the highway is 4~5 (the battery ran out midway on the highway and I didn't charge it).

■ VI. Intelligence ■
This car has many intelligent functions. The ones I use most often are the HUD head-up display, child mode, and Bluetooth parking.
HUD head-up display: In addition to displaying the speed, if in navigation, it can also display going straight, turning left, or turning right.
Child mode: My son especially likes to touch the door switches. Every time he gets in the car, the first thing he says is "Little Wei classmate, turn on child mode".
Bluetooth parking: When parking, I often encounter situations where I can't get in and out of the driver's seat. At this time, adjust the direction of the car, get out of the car, and remotely control it to move forward or backward in a straight line.
In addition, the vehicle is equipped with a DVR driving recorder that can record the interior, exterior, and 360° surroundings of the car, so there is a trace to follow in case of an accident. The built-in ETC is also super convenient. I temporarily activated it once before getting on the highway, and it was activated quickly, allowing smooth passage.

■ VII. Driving Experience ■
From the test drive until now, I have been amazed by the acceleration of this car. The acceleration is very fast, and overtaking and changing lanes are very smooth. When driving on the highway, the cruise control and lever lane change functions are also convenient for driving, and the seat massage relieves fatigue.

Review B

It's been over a month since I picked up the car, and I've driven 2300 kilometers. Regarding the car's chassis and tuning, I'm not a professional. I don't understand things like road feel, shock filtering, and steering precision that some car reviewers talk about. My intuitive feeling is: it's easy to drive, stable on the highway, has power, and overtaking is no big problem.

As for space, the front row is nothing to talk about; it can be adjusted forward and backward. After adjusting the front seats, the back row can only be said to be sufficient, not very spacious. Moreover, the cushion of the back seat is relatively short. After all, the car length and wheelbase are fixed there. To say that you can cross your legs in the back row is nonsense, unless you adjust the front seats to the farthest forward position. But it's enough for normal sitting. The trunk feels okay to me, it's sufficient.

Regarding electricity and fuel consumption, the driving distance is 2300 kilometers. The driving mode is basically standard mode. I tried economy mode once, but it was too sluggish and I wasn't used to it, so I switched back to standard mode. The store gave a tank of oil when I picked up the car, and I added it twice myself, totaling three tanks. The app shows that there are 44 liters left in the third tank, with a remaining range of 600 kilometers. I charged it 4 times in between. I didn't pay much attention to the specific electricity consumption because every time I travel between two places, I don't even know when the electricity runs out on the highway 😂. The displayed average fuel consumption is 4.6. I don't know if it's accurate or not. Anyway, as long as I enjoy driving the car, who cares about fuel consumption.

Some other advantages I want to mention: 1. Quietness, it's really good. At low speeds, needless to say, it's extremely quiet. On the highway, I usually cruise at around 118. There is some wind noise, but it's not loud. Road noise is definitely there, after all, the wheels are in direct contact with the ground and then transmitted into the car through the body. It's inevitable. The noise level varies with different road conditions, but it's all acceptable. I usually play music when driving on the highway. At this time, I can barely hear the wind noise, but I can hear the road noise. After the engine kicks in, I can hear a little engine sound, which is very small. 2. Smart cruise, this function is quite good. Basically, on the highway, I drive half the distance myself and use this for the other half. It's very worry-free, but you'd better not use it when there's a lot of traffic.

Review C

【Vehicle Condition】: Purchased in early September, two-wheel drive large cup version, exterior color: Toffee, interior color: Purple and White, no optional equipment, has been used for 2 months, current mileage 2660km.

【Purchase】: I won't go into details. After deciding to buy a car, I waited until Sunday, test-drove it at the 4S store and ordered it directly. I only compared other cars online and didn't test-drive other cars. There are two main reasons for buying Latte: interior and range (PHEV). The interior is environmentally friendly with little odor, and the range is just right for me, not too short nor too long.

【Exterior】: When it comes to appearance, it's a matter of personal preference. Now new car brands are making stunning exteriors one after another, and I didn't think Latte was particularly good-looking at first. The appearance of Latte is relatively traditional, with clear lines and edges, but after a long time, I find it quite耐看.

【Interior】: High-grade stitching, various soft wraps, and suede are not only good-looking but also comfortable to the touch. After watching the disassembly video of "This Place Is Boundless", I learned that the interior of Latte is meticulously crafted both in visible and invisible places, such as the switch damping of various storage spaces in the center console, and the joints of various components are very solid. When the new car first arrived, there were various small white insects flying in the air here, so I didn't dare to open the windows for ventilation, but the odor emitted by the interior was very small, and the main source of odor was the脚垫 provided as a gift. A large part of the reason for deciding to buy this car was the interior, but there is a big flaw in the interior: the air outlet reflects light, which is very unfriendly.
