Review A
Satisfied points:
1. The appearance is really cool and very personalized.
2. The 05's infotainment system is now on OS Y version, which I find quite usable. It has never crashed or frozen. Voice recognition can accurately cover most of my usage scenarios. The salesperson said it will be upgraded to OS N by the end of the year, looking forward to it.
3. The chassis is very solid. It feels a bit stiff when going over bumpy roads, but there's a sense of premium quality.
4. The interior is very quiet, almost no outside noise can be heard. There will be slight wind noise when the speed is above 90.
5. I also like the interior. The design is nice and the materials used are very high-end. All the places you touch are soft with a good hand feel. Because of the Volvo genes, environmentally friendly materials are used, no formaldehyde, which is reassuring!
Main unsatisfactory points:
1. The acceleration feeling while driving: there is no jerking from pure electric to engine intervention, but the 3-speed DHT will have a jerk when shifting gears. When the accelerator is pressed to a certain extent, shifting is triggered, and the car will feel a bit sudden, with insufficiently linear acceleration.
2. The space is still relatively small compared to other normal compact SUVs. The rear space is not large, and the position of the rear air-conditioning vents protrudes backward. If three people are sitting in the back, the one in the middle will be more uncomfortable.
Review B
I was attracted by the appearance of the 05, so it can be said that it started with the looks. After test-driving several models, the handling, chassis, body integration, and stability of the 05 were the reasons for my final choice. If I don't give full marks to the handling, then it would be perfect if the gear shift was a stalk shifter.
The pure electric range is indeed not an advantage compared with new energy plug-in hybrids. The CLTC 80+ actual range allows me to barely make two round trips to work,估计在60左右. I set the air conditioning to 24 degrees, and the music, navigation, and ventilated seats are all on. But the temptation of its handling and appearance makes me ignore these. This is an experience that other models in the same price range cannot provide.
The space is quite average. I have to complain that the middle of the rear seat is raised. I spend most of my time alone in Shenzhen, so space is not important to me. The trunk is also sufficient for me alone. When the rear seats are folded down, I can move in one trip.
After using the car infotainment system for a few days, the experience is actually okay, not as bad as complained about online, and it's also quite average. I have test-driven other models, and they are indeed smoother than the 05. But I really haven't encountered the lag mentioned online. Of course, it would be great if we could custom install software someday.
On weekends, I drove from Shenzhen to Zhuhai, making two round trips on the highway. The advanced assistance and adaptive cruise control are still very useful. The lane change warning assistance is also very safe, solving the problem of blind spots when changing lanes.
Probably because the sales volume of the 05 EMP model is not very ideal, the 4S store has cars in stock, and I basically got the car in less than a week. I like both gray and purple. But worried that I would get tired of them after looking at them for a long time, I still chose white.
Currently, I have driven more than 500 km. The fuel consumption in the city when the battery is low is probably no more than 7, and the fuel consumption on the highway when the battery is low is no more than 6. In smart mode with a full battery, the fuel consumption is no more than 4. Given the power output performance of the 05, such fuel consumption is already very good. Colleagues who test-drove my car also praised the 05's power output and handling.
The 05 EMP has only one interior style, and the materials are definitely high-end. This should be one of the reasons why Lynk & Co's price has not dropped significantly. The cost is indeed visible to the naked eye.
Although the EMP model is a three-cylinder engine, the parameter configuration is not an advantage compared with new energy vehicles of the same price. But when comparing configurations with competitors, what Lynk & Co may not have, but what Lynk & Co has, it is definitely made into a high-quality product. For example, I test-drove a certain Blue model with the much-hyped AR HUD, but the actual driving was very blurry. I don't know if I didn't adjust it properly that day or what. However, Lynk & Co's HUD is very clear and does not affect the driving line of sight at all. Finally, using Lynk & Co's words to give some advice to friends who are about to buy a car: whether a car is good or not and whether it suits you can only be known after a test drive.
Review C
It can run on regular gasoline and has an extended range. We test-drove the Lynk & Co 05 EM-P, here are some points:
★ Compared with the old model, the size remains unchanged, the exterior has minor modifications, and the biggest difference lies in the power system. Like the Lynk & Co 01 EM-P, it uses a P1+P2 3-speed hybrid DHT, paired with a 1.5T three-cylinder engine. The new car's power is 180kW/545Nm, with the same parameters as the 01 EM-P. The CLTC pure electric range is 85km, slightly improved compared to the old model (the old model had an NEDC pure electric range of 81km), accelerating from 0 to 100km/h in 7.6 seconds, and crucially, it now runs on 92-octane gasoline.
★ The chassis, like the exterior, is very sporty, solid and on the stiffer side, but the power output is actually more family-oriented. Although the power is strong, it won't "surge" out suddenly. After switching to the 3-speed DHT gearbox, the acceleration is much smoother. The sense of luxury is also sufficient; the front row uses double-layer laminated glass, combined with the characteristics of the PHEV model, it is quiet enough.
★ The rear seat space is not a problem, but the seats are still as stiff as the old model, and the front sport seats are also quite hard. They may not be very comfortable for long rides but have good wrapping.
★ The infotainment system has been upgraded to the 8155 chip, and the long-complained-about lag issue is finally gone.
★ There's a hidden AC charging port on the left front fender, a DC converter is included, and it also supports external power discharge.
