Competitive Comparison
The Leapmotor C10 530 Comfort Edition demonstrates clear advantages in overall value for money and family-oriented needs compared to rivals such as the Arcfox Alpha T5, FAW Toyota bZ5, and Chery Comfort Home.
-
Range & Energy Efficiency: With a CLTC range of 530 km, it performs on par with the Arcfox Alpha T5 (520 km) and Chery Comfort Home (512 km), though slightly lower than the Toyota bZ5 (550 km). Its energy consumption of 14.5 kWh per 100 km is more efficient than the Arcfox and Chery models, placing it above average in energy efficiency among peers.
-
Charging Performance: The C10 supports fast charging in 0.5 hours, matching the Chery Comfort Home but falling behind the class-leading Arcfox Alpha T5 (0.38 hours). While it outperforms the Toyota bZ5 (0.45 hours) in charging speed, its overall charging capability remains adequate for daily use.
-
Powertrain Performance: The vehicle delivers a maximum power of 170 kW, positioning it between the Chery Comfort Home (155 kW) and the more powerful Toyota bZ5 (200 kW) and Arcfox Alpha T5 (185 kW). Its top speed is 170 km/h. Tuned for comfort rather than sportiness, it may not match the rivals in outright power but suffices for everyday driving.
-
Space & Practicality: Measuring 4739 x 1900 x 1680 mm, the C10 leads its class in length. The trunk offers a flexible capacity of 370–835 L, outperforming the Toyota bZ5 (fixed 463 L) and matching the Chery Comfort Home (386–1250 L) in flexibility, though its maximum volume is less than that of the Arcfox Alpha T5 (400–1546 L). Overall, the interior space is well-balanced for family needs.
-
Tech Features: It comes with a 14.6-inch central screen and a comprehensive suite of imaging aids, including a rearview camera, 360° panoramic view, and transparent chassis view. These offer a clear edge over the Toyota bZ5 and Chery Comfort Home, which only provide a basic rearview camera.
-
Comfort & Convenience: Both driver and passenger seats are power-adjustable—a step above the Arcfox, Toyota, and Chery, which only offer power adjustment for the driver’s seat. However, the C10 does not feature a panoramic sunroof, making it feel less airy inside compared to the Arcfox Alpha T5 and Toyota bZ5.
Summary
The Leapmotor C10 530 Comfort Edition stands out with its well-rounded performance, class-leading tech and safety features, and comfort details such as dual power seats. While it may not lead in outright power or peak charging speed, it delivers outstanding value for money and effectively meets the practical needs of family users.

Positive Reviews
Excellent Overall Space
The seating space in both the front and rear rows is generous, with ample headroom and legroom. The floor is flat, and the storage design is reasonable, making it suitable for family trips.
-
"In terms of space, I’m quite satisfied compared to my previous sedan. At 175cm tall, I have plenty of room with no sense of tightness. The rear seat is also spacious enough—my dad, who weighs 90kg, says it’s comfortable too."
-
"There’s ample space for the head, legs, and lateral width; the design is very well-thought-out, and the storage space is sufficient as well. Especially the rear seat offers good support, with plenty of legroom, and the floor is flat—my 7-year-old daughter can even squat and play on the floor without any issues."
Strong power
Acceleration and take-off response are quick, with direct power delivery. The car also performs well when accelerating again at high speeds, meeting daily driving and overtaking needs.
-
"The power performance is really good—with 231 horsepower, it can quickly reach 100km/h."
-
"When the C10 is fully charged, its power delivery is noticeably more responsive than my sister’s Emgrand S, which is equipped with a 1.4T engine and CVT transmission. When driving on the highway with a full charge, accelerating from 100km/h to 130km/h for overtaking provides a clear and prompt response."
Excellent Range Performance
The range is stable, with excellent energy consumption control. It is fully compatible with slow charging and has high fast-charging efficiency, making it capable of handling intercity commutes.
-
"The range is quite reliable. A full charge with a 7kW charger takes about 11 hours. With a 120kW fast charger, it can get over 50% charge in 30 minutes."
-
"As for range, I’ve driven it across cities. For a 200km trip, the energy consumption was 27kWh. When driving at a steady speed of around 90km/h, the energy consumption is about 13.5kWh per 100km—I’m very satisfied with that. I think the energy consumption in urban areas will be even better."
Negative Reviews
Simple Infotainment System
The selection of pre-installed apps is limited. The voice control system has issues with accidental activation, and the operation smoothness needs improvement.
-
"The built-in apps on the infotainment system are really too few, and the switching between UI interfaces isn’t very smooth."
-
"The infotainment system sometimes wakes up for no reason even when I don’t say a word. It even turns on the air conditioner by itself."
Unsatisfactory Chassis Performance
The shock absorption performance is average. There is obvious residual vibration in the car body when passing over speed bumps, and the shock absorbers are relatively stiff.
-
"The chassis is indeed quite wobbly—that’s a fact. When going over a speed bump, the car bounces two or three times."
-
"The shock absorbers are a bit too stiff. When passing speed bumps, there’s a obvious sense of jolting."
Poor Sound Insulation
Tire noise and wind noise are quite noticeable when driving at medium to high speeds. Fine vibrations from the road surface are clearly transmitted into the car, leaving room for improvement in sound insulation.
-
"When driving on the highway, wind noise and tire noise are more obvious than in other cars."
-
"When driving over 80km/h and passing through some road joints, the noise inside the car is extremely loud. I wonder if this is related to the optional large wheel hubs."
