Review A
【Space Performance】
The space of this car is没得说; one word to describe it is "spacious". The five-seater's rear row has plenty of legroom when sitting in, which I wasn't used to at first; when the rear leg rest is raised, it can even be used as a bed, and folding down the rear seats plus the trunk makes another large bed. My dad, who is 178cm tall, kept saying how comfortable it was to sit in.
【Range and Energy Consumption】
With a full charge, aggressive driving allows it to run 120 kilometers. Driving normally at a speed of 70-80 km/h gives a range of about 180 kilometers, which still depends on personal driving habits. When I drive aggressively on my way home, the electricity consumption is 28.8 kWh; on flat roads, it's about 15-16 kWh. In hybrid mode, the highway fuel consumption I measured is 6.5 liters per 100 kilometers, with the speed ranging between 90-140 km/h.
【Driver Assistance】
Speaking of driver assistance, the intelligent pilot is worth mentioning. The ACC is quite good, and the 360° panoramic camera is very useful for my wife. The lack of a custom function for automatic parking is a downside. I don't need it myself, but the key is that my wife can't park. To get the car to automatically park, I even drew a parking space in front of my house, and the neighbors all laughed at me. However, I personally don't like smart driving much; holding the steering wheel myself makes me feel more at ease.
【Intelligent Cockpit】
Satisfied. The steering wheel buttons can be set to functions I'm used to, the voice function responds, and the central control screen can show the people in the rear row and the situation ahead.
【Charging Time】
The included 2kW charger takes about 9-10 hours to fully charge. Home charging takes about 3-4 hours. I haven't used fast charging yet, so I don't know how long it takes.
【Maintenance Cost】
Haven't repaired it, so I don't know.
【Maintenance】
Haven't done the first maintenance yet, so I don't know either.
Review B
I compared the BYD Song L, Changan Qiyuan Q07, Chery Fengyun T9, and Geely Xingjian 7 during the same period, and the best driving experiences were the Yipai 008 and Fengyun T9. The second-row space of the 008 is unusually large, with magic carpet seats that can recline, sit, and even transform into a daybed. The rear also has an entertainment screen and a refrigerator, and the trunk space is also very large. The in-car software doesn't allow the installation of third-party apps, but after cracking it, I installed Kuwo and TVBOX, so no more worrying about membership issues when listening to music or watching movies. The sound system is claimed to have panoramic sound, but it only delivers its true effect with lossless audio quality. The built-in in-car software is usually sufficient. I tested the automatic parking 7 times on the day I picked up the car, and it parked successfully every time, but turning the steering wheel sharply while stationary is a bit hard on the tires, so I don't use it much anymore.
There are a few minor regrets: the in-car connectivity software isn't open enough; compared to the 6-seat version, it's missing a Type-C wired投屏接口, and the 5-seat version is also阉割, which is incomprehensible—can we pay extra to unlock it? The air conditioning uses a single temperature for both front and rear rows; when turned on, it's fully on, and when turned off, it's fully off; only the driver's seat has massage function, while other seats don't—I can tolerate this when driving; seat ventilation is only available for the front seat cushions, with no ventilation for other areas or seats—I can also tolerate this; there's no glove box, and I hope accessories like adhesive storage boxes can be released.
Review C
I still can't understand why the 2026 model has reduced features like the streaming rearview mirror and head speakers? The interior has been upgraded, with a noticeable improvement compared to the 2025 model; the infotainment system is smooth but still needs further optimization; the sound quality is average, not worth the 17 speakers for music, but the video sound quality is good. What's going on? Looking forward to future updates. The lane-keeping assist tends to steer to the right. I'll ask after-sales to check it during maintenance. The test drive's brakes were sensitive, but my car's brakes are soft. Not sure why, will try to get used to it. Just got the car, and the infotainment controls are a bit confusing. For example, when getting off and powering off, the rear air conditioning is shown as not turned off (but it wasn't on actually); the left and right rear doors automatically engage the child lock; when getting in and powering on, the rear entertainment screen turns on automatically; when opening the air conditioning, the system defaults to ventilation, requiring an extra click to turn on AC. The car accessories in the official store are too expensive. Considering consistency, the store accessories are the first choice, but a month after the 2026 model was launched, there are still no compatible accessories. What's more absurd is that the store's hidden EPC is not compatible with the 2026 model and has been removed from the shelves. Could there be some unseen parts changed that cause the EPC to be unrecognizable? The driving experience is great, with a solid chassis and stable high-speed performance, easily reaching 130+. But for range, I try to keep it between 100-110, which is the most reasonable for fuel/electricity consumption.
