Review A
The exterior has a very unique design sense. Those who like it will love it very much, and I'm one of them. The space is great, the interior design is full of style, and the whole car doesn't give people an old - fashioned or overly business - like feeling.
¡¾Charging time¡¿
It's very satisfying that the range extender can reach a power of 120kW. It basically takes only ten - odd minutes to fully charge.
¡¾Assisted driving¡¿
Huawei's assisted driving is still trustworthy. Although there are still some minor problems, the fact that it can be used already represents great progress.
¡¾Space performance¡¿
The space is among the larger ones in its class, and the rear seats are also very comfortable.
¡¾Least satisfied¡¿
The marks left by the windshield wipers are very obvious. The performance of the wipers on a car at this price point is really a bit embarrassing. Although it's not expensive to replace the wipers, the original ones do have some details that aren't well - done.
¡¾Intelligent cockpit¡¿
The intelligent performance is just average. The lag of the car system is quite obvious. It can only be said that it's usable, but it's still far from being excellent.
¡¾Range and energy consumption¡¿
Overall, there isn't much difference in the range. It's enough for my daily short - distance trips anyway, since there's a charging pile at home.

¡¾Car Purchase Experience¡¿
I've always wanted to buy another new energy vehicle. In July, I test-drove several cars including the BMW iX50, Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV, Zeekr 001, Model Y, and Avita 11. Being loyal to individuality and not willing to compromise to become an ordinary street car, among the choices of the Avita 11 and the iX50, the iX50 stood out, so I pre - ordered an iX50 in Blue Ridge Mountains color. Maybe it was fate. The iX kept being delayed in arriving at the port. Until the Avita 12 was released, the salesperson quickly contacted me and said there was a display car available for viewing. That day, I went to the store with my wife to see the Avita 12. I was amazed at first sight: the cloud - purple body, the elegant fastback design, and the whole car had a high degree of originality and was full of a sense of luxury. It was the kind of car that was very eye - catching and had a very high turn - around rate on the road.
¡¾Highlight Configurations¡¿
What impressed me most at first were the three lidars in front of and on both sides of the car, the slender swastika - shaped daytime running lights, the slim electronic rear - view mirrors, the dynamic small spoiler, and the large - area glass that extended from the front of the car to the roof. It was equipped with 21 - inch wheels and red calipers. The whole car perfectly integrated these highlights, showing a strong sense of future science fiction! When I opened the door, what came into view was the long strip - shaped´øÓã screen that ran through the dashboard, which was connected with the displays of the electronic rear - view mirrors on both sides. The central control large screen and the streaming rear - view mirror above echoed each other, paired with a polygonal flat steering wheel. There were two wireless charging positions on the center console. When you put your phone on it, it would automatically sink and be fixed, and there was a hidden air vent to cool the phone. The interior was in a layered and contrasting color scheme of purple and smoke - white, with unique and spacious integrated seats. After sitting in it, the overall sense of ceremony was very strong. It was equipped with 27 speakers with a power of 1200W, a suede headliner, automatic doors, a Huawei Hongmeng 4.0 cockpit, and ADS 2.0 intelligent driving. The combination of these configurations was top - notch.
¡¾Riding Experience¡¿
Although the car body looked quite low - slung, curiously, when I, a person 178 cm tall and weighing 80 kg, sat in it, I had a relatively high sitting position similar to that in an SUV, and there was still one and a half fists of space above my head. I didn't feel cramped at all. The car was more than five meters long and had a wheelbase of more than three meters, making the overall space of the car very ample. Generally, for electric cars, because the batteries are placed in the chassis, the sitting position in the back row is raised and the foot position becomes higher, making it feel like sitting on a small stool. But the Avita 12 didn't have this kind of feeling. The salesperson introduced that the Avita 12 optimized the battery in this regard. They moved the battery in the foot position and used a special - shaped battery pack. The benefit was that a sunken space was created for the feet in the back row, making the ride more comfortable and no longer feeling like sitting on a small stool. The side - effect was that the customized battery significantly increased the cost. After all, CATL is one of the shareholders, so it must enjoy special treatment. The overall riding space was even larger than that of my current 530Li. Holding the 2 - o'clock and 10 - o'clock positions of the polygonal flat steering wheel didn't feel abrupt. It was much more reasonable than the special - shaped steering wheels with a missing upper part. In actual experience, there was no fear of missing the steering wheel when turning. The door design was also very distinctive. The traditional door handle was cancelled, and the buttons for opening and closing the door, locking the car, and window control were combined into a touch - sensitive button strip with ambient lights and decorated on the door. There was an integrated armrest below, which could also be cleverly opened as a hidden storage compartment. It gave the impression that the car designer had a very strong say, and both the interior and exterior were arranged according to the sense of design aesthetics. So how did they convince the cost - control aspect? ??
¡¾Range¡¿
I usually commute on urban roads and urban expressways. The temperature in Zhuhai is relatively high, and I often use the standard mode. The full - charge range is displayed as 650 kilometers. I commute about 40 - odd kilometers every day, about 15 kilometers on urban roads (stop - and - go, with a speed of about 60 km/h) and about 30 kilometers on expressways (100 - 110 km/h). I turn on the air - conditioner and start listening to music as soon as I get in the car. The energy consumption is a little over 17 and less than 18 kWh/100 km. I once took a round - trip on the highway of more than 900 kilometers. When setting off, there were five people and luggage in the car. I kept the air - conditioner on and used intelligent driving throughout the journey, driving at 10% above the speed limit on the highway. The power consumption was about 18 - 19 kWh/100 km. There was a mountainous section of more than 100 kilometers with many uphill slopes, and the power consumption reached a maximum of 24 kWh/100 km. On the return journey, there were two people and no luggage. It was cold, so I turned on the heater, listened to music, and used intelligent driving. The power consumption was only 1 - 2 points worse than the outbound journey, probably because the heater was quite power - consuming and the headlights were on at night. I arranged for one charging stop on the way. On the outbound journey, I used a fast - charging station of the bus group, and on the return journey, I found an Ideal fast - charging station. The fast - charging power could reach more than 120 kW, and it only took about ten minutes to charge, which was quite fast and very satisfactory. If there is no queue on non - holiday days, electric cars can still be driven on the highway.
Review C
Placed an order in December and picked up the car on March 2nd.
[Car - buying experience] This is the first car I've ever bought. I started looking at cars in June 2023. Since I need a Shanghai A license plate, I had to buy a pure - electric vehicle. I almost checked out all electric car models priced between 200,000 and 300,000 yuan. Buying a car is really tiring. Every day, I kept looking online at how other car owners felt about their cars, had to distinguish between true and false reviews, and also had to bargain with car salespeople.
The car models I've seen include BYD Han, BYD Seal, MODEL 3, XPENG P7I, XPENG G6, Feifan F7, IM LS7, IM L7, IM LS6, Jiyue 001, Zeekr 001, Avita 11, Zhijie S7, BMW I3, Xingjiyuan, Zeekr 007, and Avita 12.
Based on the criteria of appearance first, intelligent driving second, and interior space third, I finally chose the Avita 12.
[Car - using needs]
Appearance: Nowadays, there are no unattractive electric cars. I've become immune to their looks. I want a car that stands out and has unique recognition. Everyone's car is undoubtedly the best choice to show their personality and taste, just like the kind of life I yearn for. I like being different and hate being ordinary.
Range: I often travel on business in the Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai areas, and my company offers good subsidies. A single - trip range of over 350 kilometers is sufficient. I commute 70 kilometers to and from work every day, with 50 kilometers on the elevated road and 20 kilometers on urban roads. It's acceptable to charge the car once a week.
Intelligent driving: The intelligent - driving hardware standard - equipped by Huawei will have no problems with OTA for at least five years. After test - driving so many cars, I have to admit that Huawei's intelligent driving is indeed the most stable. Although there are still many minor issues, it's better than just being a concept on paper. We can wait for the gradual OTA upgrades.
Personally, I don't need urban intelligent driving, but the highway intelligent driving must be absolutely stable!!! After all, life is only once, and we can't take it lightly.
Interior space: I personally love self - driving tours. The zero - gravity seats and the celestial dome of the LS7 are what I consider the standard equipment for self - driving tours. The Avita 12 has both, and its interior is luxurious enough, with a large rear - seat space.
After looking for so long at the appearance, interior space, and intelligent driving, the Avita 12 meets all my requirements.
Finally, I locked in my order for the Avita 12 in December.
I picked up the car in March. Even when the new 001 came out, it didn't shake my decision to pick up the Avita 12. I like sitting in the car, not driving. The only thing that almost made me change my mind was the long - term delivery delay, but Avita's responsible subsidy dispelled this thought.
[Real - life experience]
[Range and energy consumption]
I commute to and from work every day, taking the Middle Ring Road and Hongmei Elevated Road. The urban roads are relatively short. As a newbie, I usually drive at about 65 mph on the elevated road in comfort mode. The average daily energy consumption fluctuates around 15, and the overall mileage is about 80% - 90% of the rated mileage. Maybe it's because the weather is warmer. The temperature in Shanghai in March is basically above 10 degrees Celsius. After looking at the energy consumption of other electric cars, I think the energy consumption of the Avita 12 is just average. I'm generally quite satisfied.
I specifically tried charging at a Xiaoju charging station near my home. The maximum power of the charging pile is 120 KW. It took 25 minutes to charge 40 kWh, and the power was around 100 W. It should charge faster if the battery is pre - heated. About 80% of the fast - charging piles near my home are 120 W, and there are very few super - fast charging piles. Calculated like this, it can definitely be fully charged from 20% to 90% in 40 minutes.
[New - car comfort]
There was no odor in the car after I picked it up. I specifically bought a formaldehyde self - testing kit. I set the car's air - conditioner to about 20 degrees Celsius. The test showed no formaldehyde.
There were no abnormal noises in the new car. The only strange noise was a strange sound at a low speed of 30 mph, which disappeared after I turned off the relevant setting. I've driven up to 80 mph, and the sound insulation is good. I haven't been on the highway yet, so I don't know if there will be wind noise at 120 mph.
The stone - blue interior looks better than I expected. The combination of the blue exterior and blue interior is a perfect choice. The overall interior has a minimalist style, but the materials used are really solid, with a large area covered by Nappa leather, creating a luxurious in - car atmosphere.
During the lunch break, I can open the zero - gravity seat and the massage function and have a comfortable nap. The comfort level is off the charts.
The rear - seat space is incredibly large. My dad is 180 cm tall, and he doesn't feel cramped sitting in the back seat at all. This is very well - done for a fastback sedan.
[Intelligent assistance]
As a newbie driver, the Huawei intelligent driving assistance system of the Avita 12 is very user - friendly.
Newbies like me tend to drive crookedly. I often drift to the right while driving, and the steering wheel will vibrate immediately when I cross the line.
The first time I drove on the elevated road, I was very nervous because there were so many cars and the speed was fast. I was so focused on the road that I didn't hear the navigation clearly and changed lanes late. I didn't observe the distance of the car on the right - rear side clearly and forced a lane change. Suddenly, there was a strange force that took over the steering wheel and turned it back. Two seconds later, a car zoomed past from behind. Just thinking about it gives me the shivers. Although I took the wrong route, it avoided an accident. I've counted that the system has taken over my steering wheel twice on the elevated road so far. If the Avita 12 takes over the steering wheel, it means it's really dangerous.
The active intelligent driving can be activated after driving 50 kilometers, completing video learning, and passing an exam. At present, I'm still in the stage of honing my driving skills, so I haven't used the highway pilot and LCC yet.
I tried the automatic reverse parking, which was very smooth, and the car was parked right in the middle. I even learned my reverse - parking skills from the way the intelligent driving system steers.
I highly recommend Huawei's intelligent driving to new drivers. The main advantage is its stability.
[Driving experience]
I like sitting in the car and don't have much interest in driving. I feel that the roads in Shanghai are very smooth when I drive, and the driving view is very wide. Overall, the driving experience is good.
The turning radius is a bit large. It's quite troublesome for me with my poor driving skills to make a U - turn on the road. The car is too big, so it's difficult to turn in the basement parking lot. But when driving on narrow roads, I usually turn on the 360 - degree view and drive slowly, and I can still drive smoothly.
[Complaints]
1. The nice celestial dome is divided by the sun visor, and the sun visor can't be folded to the side. It's very annoying.
2. As a car with a full - score appearance, the coolest thing about the Avita 12 is the illuminated logo in the dark. But the logo can't be set to stay lit all the time. I hope there will be an OTA upgrade for this later.
3. Can the navigation route not be displayed on the center console screen? It's tiring to look at. I hope it can be displayed on the front long screen so that it can be seen at a glance. I hope there will be an OTA upgrade for this in the future.
