Review A
In 2013, I replaced my Spirior with a Beijing BJ40. Initially, I had my eye on the Leopard 5 but gave up because the price couldn't be negotiated. There was also the Shanhai T2 Mountain Edition; as soon as it was launched and I saw the price, I immediately dismissed it. I stumbled upon the BJ40 by accident. It has a bold exterior, and since I mainly use it for commuting to and from work in the city, the cost-effectiveness is there, and its presence doesn't lose out to those luxury cars. It's been over 90 days since I picked up the car. There was a little hiccup when I collected it, but so far, after driving 7,000 kilometers, I haven't found any issues. The body is large, so wind noise is inevitable. In terms of driving experience, I don't have high demands for cars, but I feel the suspension could be improved as there's some sway when driving. I haven't really tested the range. Considering the car weighs nearly 3 tons, the current energy consumption is acceptable. I've seen many bloggers and individuals online say the BJ40 has many minor issues. Ever since I started researching this car, I've seen people online criticizing it for one thing or another. All cars have issues; it's just a matter of probability. It's like when you ask others if a business idea will work, they might tell you they think it won't and you'll lose money, but in the end, if you don't do it, someone else will. If you personally like something, go for it. Don't keep asking others for opinions. You're an adult, not a child; you don't need constant supervision. Life is short, and there aren't many chances to start over. Pay for what you like.
Review B
I was drawn to it at first sight. The exterior is very imposing, and no one is bigger than me. The power is instant when I step on the gas, and no one is faster than me. There's no rival when driving in the city; I dare not step on the accelerator deeply because even a little pressure makes me speed. It's such a pity for it. On the highway, it's even more unbeatable. The space is sufficient; folding down the rear seats turns it into a big bed where I can lie flat. The infotainment system has rich functions but isn't flashy. The fuel efficiency is good: when driving in the city, I mainly use electricity, which I can never run out of. I charge it once every three days, costing less than 30 yuan each time. On the highway, I use hybrid mode, and I basically never run out of power either. For 200 kilometers, the fuel cost is less than 20 yuan, and the electricity cost is only about 10 yuan. It's so economical. Driving it gives me a full sense of security, as if other cars start to respect you. Small cars dare not hit you, and others dare not honk when cutting in line. Haha, but I still hope everyone drives civilly. I really bought this car very satisfactorily. It excels in economy, power, safety, interior, and appearance. It can handle both city driving and off-roading. The only drawback is that I'm 188 cm tall, and I can't stretch my legs straight when the rear seats are folded down. There's nothing I can do about it, though¡ªwho let me be so tall? ??
Review C
I switched from a fuel-powered H6 to this BJ40e, and I was completely attracted to it after just one test drive! I will share my feelings from several aspects:
¢Ù Vehicle appearance: In the stock state, the vehicle height is 1.96 meters, with a non-load-bearing body, truly achieving the highest height among "square box" off-road vehicles (1:1 ratio). The external spare tire highlights its dominance, and the interior features five screens, which is full of a sense of technology. Currently, I believe it is the most cost-effective square box off-road vehicle!
¢Ú Cost of ownership: To be honest, this car is suitable for daily commuting to work and occasional off-roading. Charging at home is quite economical. I roughly calculated that it costs about 0.15 yuan per kilometer; with a self-weight of 2.6 tons and the square box shape, its performance on the highway is acceptable to me (at 240km, energy consumption: 20.1 kWh + 20.7 L), after all, I only drive on the highway occasionally. If you don't take long trips, it's better not to refuel because you really won't use the gasoline, and it will go bad if left for a long time!
¢Û Vehicle performance: My main driving scenarios are city commuting and occasional light off-roading for outings. The power performance in the city feels a bit "excessive" and I can't fully utilize it. Just a light step on the accelerator makes the front end "lift up". Whenever I'm at a traffic light, I have to be the first to go. With 525 horsepower and accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds, it can outperform everything. I went on aҰÍ⽼ÓÎ once, passing through some gravel, sand, and grasslands, and it felt like driving on flat ground. The power is instant and sustained as long as I keep pressing the accelerator. Although I haven't used many hardcore functions and may never use them, I can live without using them, but I can't live without having them!
¢Ü Overall feeling: There are many small details I like, such as the electric closing of the charging cover, streaming rearview mirror,³¬¶àÊֻú³äµç¿Ú, reading lights with adjustable brightness, memory seats, exterior welcome lights, queen seat, three-level adjustment of the rear seat angle, etc. It's really full of a sense of technology. This car is really strange. People who have driven it like it very much, but those who haven't driven it say it's industrialÀ¬»ø. So spend your own money, no need to listen to others, just like what you like. After all, buying early means enjoying early!
I will continue to share my car usage experience in the future.
