    Review A

¡¾Space Performance¡¿The car's length of 4,592mm (close to 4.6 meters) is even more spacious than the medium-sized SUV, the Talagon, which is 4,589mm long. The overall interior space is excellent. Coupled with the brand-new MEB platform, there's absolutely no problem seating three men between 175 - 180cm tall in the back row. When combined with the panoramic sunroof, the overall visual sense of space is really great.
    ¡¾Charging Time¡¿
It's about the same as what the official released. It takes around 35 minutes to charge from 30% to 80%. There are plenty of charging stations in Nanjing, and there's definitely one within a 3km radius, so there's no need to worry. I usually start charging when the battery is around 10 - 15% (with a remaining range of 60 - 70 kilometers) and charge it up to 90% (personally, I don't like stopping at 80%, it feels like I'm overly cautious with an "electric daddy". Charging to 90% is fine, the car won't break down). So each time, it basically takes 50 minutes to charge. Factoring in the time to enter and exit the parking lot, it's all done within an hour. Most of the time, parking is free. I always calculate it well. This can be considered a little tip or trick.
    ¡¾Range¡¿
First point: The overall range is okay. I bought the car in winter. The normal minimum temperature in Nanjing in winter is around 0 degrees Celsius, so it's still bearable, not as cold as in the north. With a full charge in winter, the range is around 450 kilometers, basically about 80% of the full range. The main reason is that the air conditioning consumes a lot of electricity. Actually, this is quite normal. I've been keeping an eye on many electric vehicles before, like Tesla, NIO, XPeng, Li Auto, and BYD. They're all pretty much the same because they all use lithium batteries at their core. So there's no point arguing about who has a few more kilometers of range. I think the differences are minor, and you wouldn't wait until there are only a few kilometers of range left to charge. Second point: In spring and autumn, the range of the ID.4 is really good. Currently, I can get over 600 kilometers. When I don't turn on the air conditioning, the power consumption is around 13, which is really nice. Also, I've found that this car is easier to drive in B mode. Although its kinetic energy recovery isn't as good as Tesla's, it's still decent and can increase the range.
    ¡¾Intelligence¡¿
I'm not very satisfied with the intelligence aspect. There's basically no decent car - operating system, and this needs improvement. Apart from navigation, music, and the radio, I rarely use other functions. For example, I hardly ever use apps like iQiyi or Tencent Video. I mainly think a car is for driving. When I'm not driving, I'm usually at home or in the office. If I really want to watch TV, isn't it better to use my phone? But people are never satisfied. We all hope that the car should have these features. Whether I use them or not is up to me. Hahaha.
    ¡¾Most Dissatisfied¡¿
There isn't anything that I'm extremely dissatisfied with for now. If there has to be something, it might still be the car - operating system. It would be great if it could be as feature - rich as Tesla's.

    Review B

    Configuration, appearance, and spatial experience:
This car features luminous logos and a seamless design style. Its sleek appearance is full of power! When the headlights are on, it's as if a prodigy has opened its eyes, which is quite distinctive. Its four wheels are arranged at the four corners as much as possible, resulting in a unique space utilization rate! The 2765mm wheelbase meets the standard of a mid - size car. The 3D taillights give a sense of layered progression! Moreover, both the color temperature and refresh rate are high. The interior space of this car is very spacious. The panoramic glass roof makes the interior more transparent. The driving modes of this car include economy, comfort, sport, and personalized. Each mode can be customized for functions such as the driving device, steering wheel, chassis, adaptive cruise control, and lighting assistance. Objectively speaking, this car can truly be regarded as a work of art. In terms of handling quality, exterior design, body materials, interior space layout, intelligent car - machine system, and detailed control of human - machine interaction, it really offers a lot in every aspect, giving the driver a feeling that it doesn't disappoint, full of sincerity.

    Technological and intelligent experience:
The 12 - inch floating dashboard is independent of the center console. The background ambient lights can be customized in 30 colors. It is a new - energy vehicle with technological intelligence. A truly efficient BMS energy management system and low - wind - resistance design make it more durable! It has lower energy consumption, is more energy - efficient, and more environmentally friendly. The ID4 is the first to apply the AR hub - enhanced head - up display function to the front windshield. The display area is still quite large, comparable to that of luxury cars, greatly enhancing practicality and safety.

    Charging time:
In the fast - charging state, the ID4 only takes about half an hour to charge from 30% to 80% of its battery capacity, which is quite consistent with the charging time advertised by Volkswagen, even faster than charging a mobile phone. If you encounter low battery, there's no need to worry too much. It can charge for 10 minutes and run for 100km, which is very suitable for emergencies.

    Endurance performance:
I've only driven a little over 300 kilometers so far. With the air - conditioner on throughout the journey, the displayed power consumption is 17kWh. It can still run for about 500KM at full capacity, which I'm quite satisfied with. After all, this car weighs over 2 tons, so it's normal to have relatively high energy consumption. I'm just not sure if it can run for 400 kilometers with the heater on in winter.

    Driving experience:
I've been driving electric cars, so I'm very familiar with the characteristics of the accelerator and the braking force. The acceleration process is smooth and quiet, and it runs steadily at high speeds. In D mode, there is no regenerative braking, and the driving experience is almost the same as that of a gasoline - powered car. Even in B mode, there is no strong dragging feeling. The CRBS braking system is a bit inconsistent, sometimes requiring more force and sometimes less.

    Space and seating experience:
The seating position in the front row is very good, and the lateral space is sufficient. In the back row, there is still a distance of about three fists between the seated person and the backrest. The central armrest box can hold a lot of things, but the armrest part itself can't hold much. The trunk space is very large and can accommodate a folded stroller and a baby carriage at the same time. The overall comfort is higher than that of a 200,000 - yuan fuel - powered car.

    Cost of using the car:
Charging an all - electric vehicle is definitely cheaper than refueling a gasoline car. This is already my second electric car, and it's really great.

    Satisfied aspects:
I'm quite satisfied with the driving quality. Whether on congested city roads or highways, the chassis of the ID.4 gives you a stable feeling. It doesn't make any unnecessary movements when going over bumps. The appearance also looks good. It's no longer the traditional Volkswagen look. The newly designed front and rear parts make it highly recognizable on the street. The interior space is quite suitable for a family of four.

    Review C

    [Most Satisfied]
    1. Space: The space is more than enough, so there's no need to worry. I'm 185cm tall. After adjusting the front driver's seat, there's nearly a fist's width of headroom in the front row, and the legroom in the back row can reach about two fists. Moreover, the rear floor is almost completely flat. Even if three adults sit in the back, they won't feel cramped in the lateral space. Meanwhile, while ensuring the seating space, the ID.4 also has a large enough trunk, which can effectively ensure a worry - free trip for the whole family.
    2. Power: The power of the ID.4 is definitely not the most powerful in the world of electric vehicles, but it excels in smoothness. In the comfort mode, when the speed is below 60 km/h, the vehicle still responds well to the accelerator. However, it shows a bit of weakness when accelerating at medium and high speeds.
    3. Chassis: Since I used to drive a Kuga, I don't find the chassis of the ID.4 hard. It passes over speed bumps smoothly. The suspension provides sufficient support. Indeed, Volkswagen's expertise in chassis manufacturing can't be learned by new players in a short time.
    4. Steering: The steering is precise. Although the steering wheel has a relatively large number of turns, it results in an extremely small turning radius. The ability to make a U - turn within two lanes is very practical in a city like Chongqing with many narrow roads.
    5. Power consumption: I picked up the car with a full charge three days ago. The average temperature in Chongqing was about 14 degrees Celsius during these three days. I've driven over 120 km and there's still 78% of the battery left. The estimated range is 449 km, and the average power consumption per 100 km is about 16 kWh.
    6. Configuration: The ID family is definitely the top - level configuration among Volkswagen models priced under 200,000 yuan. Except for seat ventilation, all other practical functions you can think of are equipped. I strongly recommend the AR - HUD. It's a perfect combination of technological sense and practicality. It's amazing!
    7. Assisted driving: It has L2 + level assisted driving, which is very useful. It has strong road recognition ability. The lane - keeping and automatic following functions are very stable. There's basically no zig - zagging. When the vehicle in front exceeds the set distance or cuts in, it can automatically decelerate.
