    Review A

¡¾Car Purchase Experience¡¿First of all, my family has always had a gasoline car before. Although it's not a top - notch car, just a Volkswagen, it's quite ordinary. My dad bought this car to run an online car - hailing service. The monthly rent of over 3000 for the Geometry A felt like being cut by a small knife every month, so it's really better to buy an electric car. Also, due to the nature of my job, I often need to drive 100 - 200 kilometers every day. So it was really painful on the days when the gasoline car was restricted. In Tianjin, gasoline cars are not allowed to enter the urban area from 7 am to 7 pm, while electric cars with green license plates have never been restricted. Based on these reasons, my family decided to buy an EV. Before the vehicle gets the operation permit, it can relieve my urgent need, and after obtaining the permit, it can replace the rented Geometry A from the company.
¡¾Sales Attitude¡¿The salespeople I've met left a relatively good impression on me (especially compared with the sales of a certain "T" brand). They are quite professional and have good business capabilities. Most importantly, they have a good attitude. When discussing the purchase plan, my family initially wanted to pay in full since the car is not expensive. But the salespeople didn't change their attitude drastically.
¡¾Least Satisfied¡¿It's probably the rear doors of this car. If the sound of closing the front door is like that of a B - class car, the rear door is like that of a Santana. No exaggeration. Whether you close it gently or forcefully, you can clearly feel that the front door makes a "pong" sound and the rear door makes a "guang" sound. The material of the rear door is obviously lighter.
¡¾Maintenance¡¿I haven't driven enough kilometers yet. However, as an ever - popular standard car of a certain company for a long time, the maintenance cost should be normal and not too high.
¡¾Maintenance Cost¡¿I just picked up the car on June 12th and haven't broken it yet, so I can't give an evaluation.
¡¾Driving Experience¡¿This is a key point. I used to be very biased against electric cars because I drove a gasoline car every day. Most of the time, my dad used the Geometry A for work, and since it's a company car, he treasures it and rarely lets me drive it. So I've only driven the Geometry A once (which was also my first time driving an electric car). I felt that as soon as I gently touched the accelerator, it wasn't even like stepping on it, and the car would just rush forward. This EV seems to have a similar start as the Geometry A. When reversing, there's still that unique small horn sound of Geely. Since I'm used to driving a compact gasoline car, the acceleration of this EV is really amazing. No exaggeration, among all gasoline cars in the same price range, including the Civic, there's basically none that can compete. And the fast acceleration gives a huge advantage on urban roads, which was also the thing I really hated about electric cars when I drove a gasoline car. Well, electric cars can squeeze into spaces that you think are impossible, especially during rush hours. I also deliberately drove on the expressway. Although it's widely said that electric cars feel unstable at high speeds, maybe because it's a new car, I think it's okay. But when you step on the brakes, you can clearly feel that it's not as good as a gasoline car. Since the front of the electric car is light, if you step on the brakes hard, it can't stop immediately below 40 mph like a gasoline car. It will still roll forward slowly. I haven't tried the sport mode. My dad demonstrated it to me in the Geometry A before. I was sitting in the passenger seat at that time. Goodness, it was really like a catapult start. I almost vomited the big bowl of soy milk I had for breakfast on the windshield. I suggest you don't switch to the sport mode casually, after all, life is only once.
¡¾Car Purchase Price¡¿The price varies in different regions. In Tianjin, it's about 100,000 yuan.
¡¾Most Satisfied¡¿I'm most satisfied with the acceleration, range, and performance. The acceleration is fast, and the range is much better than the 253 - kilometer range of the old Emgrand. This car has a range of 421 kilometers. In terms of performance, if you take 120 mph as a benchmark, you can experience the acceleration of a B - class car at the price of an A - class car, which is definitely sufficient for urban driving.
¡¾Range¡¿With a range of 421 kilometers and a relatively low price compared to cars with longer ranges like XPeng and BYD, I have reason to believe that this new EV will be one of the mainstream models for online car - hailing services in the future. Whether for daily commuting or running an online car - hailing service, it's a car with high cost - performance.

    Review B

¡¾Exterior¡¿The front face of the Emgrand EV500 features a closed front grille. The logo in the middle has a concave design, making the whole car look young and grand. The strip-shaped LED daytime running lights enhance the overall appearance. The side lines of the car are designed with a lower front and higher rear, creating a visual effect of forward momentum. The rear of the car is mainly designed to be dynamic. The dual-exhaust decorative trim outlined by the metal strip enhances the sporty feeling.
¡¾Interior¡¿The interior of the Emgrand EV500 adopts Geely's new-generation design language. The dashboard has an arch-shaped design. The silver strip and the 8-inch central control screen create a technological atmosphere. The shortcut keys are touch-operated. The in-vehicle system interface is beautiful and has a voice control function with quite rich features. The seats have good wrapping performance. The blue stitching shows its identity as a new energy vehicle. The softness and hardness of the seats are quite comfortable. Surprisingly, both front seats have a heating function, which provides a great experience in winter.
¡¾Power¡¿The Emgrand EV500 is equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous motor with a power of 120kW (163Ps) and a torque of 250N.m. In the test drive, the tuning of the power system still leans towards comfort and energy saving. In the sport mode, the response speed of the power output is obvious, which can bring a good sense of pushback. Even when the speed exceeds 80km/h, it can still provide a certain acceleration ability. The power feeling varies in different modes of the energy recovery system. In the low gear, the intervention of the energy recovery system is very gentle, while in the high gear, the energy recovery will bring an obvious dragging feeling. The power is still good.
¡¾Spacious interior¡¿As for the space experience of the Emgrand EV500, I'm 172cm tall. When I adjust the front seat to the lowest position, there is about a palm's distance of headroom. Keeping the front seat position unchanged, when I move to the rear, there is about four fingers' width of headroom left in the rear, and the legroom is more than two fists. The space is okay.

    Review C

    ¡¾Driving Experience¡¿
The Emgrand EV is equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous motor with a total power of 150kW (204Ps) and a total torque of 240 N¡¤m, and is paired with a single-speed transmission for electric vehicles. The official 0-100km/h acceleration time is 7.7 seconds, showing good acceleration performance. When starting and switching to the sport mode... there is an obvious sense of being pushed back into the seat. After all, it's a pure electric vehicle.
    ¡¾Riding Experience¡¿
The entire suspension is tuned to be on the softer side. When driving on bumpy roads, the excessive vibrations are handled very thoroughly, greatly improving the in-car riding comfort. However, due to the soft suspension, the vehicle body leans more obviously during sharp turns, and the support is slightly insufficient.
    ¡¾Endurance¡¿
The Emgrand EV uses a ternary lithium battery pack with a capacity of 52.7kWh, and the NEDC endurance range can reach 421km. Due to the influence of winter temperatures on the battery pack, the actual endurance range cannot be achieved. This is also a shortcoming of new energy pure electric vehicles. Fortunately, it supports a 0.5-hour fast charge, which improves the convenience of travel.
