I first came into contact with the Hongqi brand when I purchased the Hongqi HS5 4WD Flagship Edition in 2019. It gave me a sense of safety and reliability, handling my daily commute perfectly and being ideal for family road trips during holidays.
In mid-July this year, I accidentally saw the pre-sale live broadcast promotion for the new HS7 PHEV. On the 14th, I contacted my previous salesperson. I really appreciate her detailed explanation, but due to her job transfer to Jiangyin, which is a bit far from Suzhou, I ended up picking up the car locally. I visited both Suzhou Heqi and Suzhou Huashuo stores. To be honest, the service awareness of some sales staff was just passable, and they couldn't answer basic questions. I can understand that the new car was just launched, but training needs to be strengthened; otherwise, how can you retain customers? I went to Suzhou Huashuo Hongqi Store with a trial心态. Although the store was under renovation at the time, the sales staff's service attitude and professional knowledge of the brand were very satisfying. I especially want to thank Sales Director Zhou Ming for his meticulous explanation. His sincere reception made me place an order directly that day. Although I felt a bit impulsive later, Director Zhou helped me communicate and solve problems promptly, and he was always forthcoming with information. A big thumbs up to you! 👍👍👍

【Least Satisfactory】The only unsatisfactory aspect might be that the second-row seats are manually adjusted for movement and backrest angle. These aren't issues for me, but passengers might find them inconvenient. I suggest the manufacturer consider changing the second and third-row seat adjustment functions to electric in the mid-term facelift; that would make it perfect.
【Car Price】I have always believed that you get what you pay for, so I think this car price is reasonable in my mind.
【Driving Experience】I personally feel that the road feedback is softer than my Hongqi HS5, possibly due to the added motor. The acceleration response is indeed much faster than pure fuel vehicles.
The biggest "problem" with the front and rear double-glazed windows is that the interior quietness is so good that you can hardly hear outside noises. When registering the car, the vehicle management office staff called me for a long time, thinking I was looking at my phone and ignoring him. I explained to him for a while, and we both laughed 😄
【Fuel Consumption】There are too many factors affecting fuel consumption: personal driving habits, road conditions, and other factors. Anyway, it's not my concern, so I won't evaluate it. Please refer to official data.
【Range】Pure electric mode is sufficient for commuting, but I'm used to setting it to hybrid mode, so I haven't really tested the actual pure electric range yet. I'll share it with everyone after I test it.
【Power Performance】Overall, after a week of use, I feel the power is very strong; sometimes it's a bit hard to handle. 😅😅😅
【Space Performance】I chose the 6-seat version. When the second and third-row seats are folded down, the entire trunk is really flat, and an 1.8-meter air mattress fits perfectly.
【Highlight Features】I personally feel that the appearance of the HS7 PHEV and the 2.0T plug-in hybrid system are the biggest highlights. It would be even better if the streaming rearview mirror function from the HS5 could be added.
