Review A
¡¾Driving Experience¡¿
The chassis is very tight, solid, and resilient without being overly bumpy (you can try driving over a series of speed bumps at the entrances and exits of several office buildings). It's very stable at high speeds (since I'd always heard others say that SUVs tend to shake or feel floaty at high speeds). At least the Q5E is stable up to 132 km/h (the upper limit within 10% of the speed limit on highways as required by the state, so I haven't tried higher speeds). I've seen the moose test results of this car. A 2-ton-plus SUV can actually achieve a result of 80 km/h.
For the L2 driving assistance function, it uses the Mobileye EyeQ4 chip. I'm quite familiar with this Israeli automotive technology company, which now belongs to the Intel group as it was acquired by Intel. Back when Qualcomm and NVIDIA's intelligent driving chips weren't as popular as they are now, this brand was a leading and established intelligent driving solution provider. I remember that the old NIO ES6 also used this company's chip solution. The actual experience is at the L2 driving assistance level that an established automaker should have. It's not outstanding but very stable (after all, there's only one camera). It works perfectly for daily traffic congestion following or high-speed cruising (you need to pay attention to vehicles suddenly cutting in and make some manual interventions).
You can see some changes in the in-car infotainment system, but there aren't many new features. It's an Android system. The interface seems to be a nested UI and some functions based on the in-car infotainment system of MEB VW. There are often some minor bugs, but the overall tolerance is okay. It integrates the app stores of some third-party connected car companies, allowing you to install some mini-games, music and video software, third-party maps, and apps. The playability isn't high, but it has all the essentials.
¡¾Range¡¿
The calculation of the drivable range is very accurate. In spring and autumn, it can easily reach the official range of 560 km. The official tested power consumption is 15.9 kWh. After multiple charging and testing, I've concluded that as long as you fully charge the battery and the average power consumption during daily driving doesn't exceed 16 kWh, the next full charge will show the official range of 560 km. This power consumption can be easily achieved in spring and autumn without rapid acceleration. In winter, the range is mainly affected by the air conditioning for heating. There's really nothing we can do about PTC heating. The colder it gets, the more power it consumes, which is similar for all brands unless you choose to install a heat pump air conditioner. In my actual test, when driving with the air conditioner on at 0¡ãC¨C8¡ãC, the power consumption is around 19 kWh¨C22 kWh. If you don't turn on the air conditioner but only turn on the seat and steering wheel heating, I can control the power consumption at around 17 kWh. On the highway, after a full charge and with a maximum speed of no more than 115 km/h (this figure is also the best practice from my personal test. I feel that the battery drains a bit faster at 120 km/h), it can easily cover a one-way distance of 400 km (with at least 10%¨C15% of the battery remaining).
¡¾Riding Experience¡¿
It has a 7-seat layout. The angle of the second-row seats can be adjusted within a limited range. The rear space isn't as spacious as that of the previous Passat or Magotan, but it's also not as cramped as that of the Volvo XC60 or X3. It's in between, not cramped but not extremely spacious (a bit abstract). To make the third-row seats a bit more comfortable for adults, you need to sacrifice about half of the legroom in front of the second-row seats.
¡¾Least Satisfied¡¿
Here are a few small suggestions:
1. The front sports seats are completely integrated, resulting in poor expandability. There are no interfaces for installing a display screen bracket or a small table in the rear.
2. The order of the UI icons in the in-car infotainment system is easily shuffled automatically. The layout and positions you've arranged often get messed up irregularly.
3. The wake-up function of the in-car voice assistant has been disabled. Although the recognition rate of the original in-car voice assistant isn't very high, I still hope the sense of ceremony can be retained. Without the "Hey, Audi!", it just doesn't feel right, haha.
Review B
Advantages of this car:
1. It has a good ambience with interior lighting and a panoramic sunroof (movable with a black curtain. I was embarrassed during the test drive of XPeng as its sunroof is just a piece of tempered glass, neither with a curtain nor movable).
2. The configuration is decent. There is ventilation and heating in the front row. The middle row has relatively large space, while the back row is only suitable for emergency use. There are air - conditioners in both the front and back rows.
3. The space is extremely large. I even put a car - fridge in the back row. ??
4. The driving experience is good. The power is acceptable, not comparable to domestic new - energy vehicles but still quite good. Mine is the 50 - version, so it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6 seconds. Although it uses MacPherson struts in the front and drum brakes in the rear, the brakes are actually quite sensitive, and the shock absorbers are okay, doing a good job in filtering small potholes. It comes with a head - up display, lane - change assist, and ACC, which are very comfortable to use in practice. The lights are very bright. After all, it's from a renowned lamp - making car brand. I often feel like I'm using high - beam when I'm actually using low - beam. The built - in headlight cleaning function is a plus. The sound insulation is better than that of my old XC60 and old A6. Sometimes I even wonder if my horn is broken.
5. The safety performance is excellent. Not long after I picked up the car, I was rear - ended. There was only a small dent in my trunk, while the front of the ZEEKR 001 that hit me was severely dented.
Review C
It's been a little over a month since I picked up the car, and it has driven 2,800 kilometers. The car is great, and I feel I made the right choice.
First of all, it's a fully electric vehicle with a pure - electric range of 560 kilometers. The driving experience of this car is like that of a high - end vehicle. The chassis is solid, and the noise control is excellent! The power is more than enough, and it accelerates faster than ordinary fuel - powered cars. Coupled with the quietness of electric vehicles during driving, it allows me to have a quiet environment and a good mood during trips.
2. It has an advantage in terms of usage cost. It is extremely economical to drive. In the past, it was normal for me to spend 300 - 500 yuan on gasoline every week for my fuel - powered car. Now, I only need to spend 100 yuan on a single charge, and it can last for half a month. Of course, the maintenance cost is also much lower.
3. I've also found some minor issues. I sometimes can't log in to Audi connect. The window film given by the dealership is average (I've upgraded it myself). The sales volume of this car is mediocre, so there are relatively few small accessories available for purchase online. I'll continue to share my experiences with you later.
