Review A
[Car Purchase Experience]
There's a fuel-powered car at home for commuting, which is almost ten years old. The insurance is getting more and more expensive, and the fuel consumption is also on the high side. I wanted to sell it quickly before it had any major problems and switch to a domestic new energy vehicle. I've been paying attention to domestic new energy vehicles since this year. By chance, I saw the ZEEKR 001 and was immediately attracted to it. I was really tempted when the 2024 model was just launched. It seemed like an all-rounder (except for the underwhelming intelligent driving performance). But since I value the intelligent driving function quite a bit, I didn't make up my mind. I was really surprised when the 2025 model was launched. I didn't expect it to be updated so quickly. It has truly become an all-rounder with complete intelligent driving hardware and great growth potential in software. Although some "stab in the back" incidents have led to a decline in its reputation, the configuration and cost-effectiveness of the 2025 model are really appealing. It combines sportiness and space, making it the best choice for someone like me who doesn't like SUVs but needs space. Eventually, I happened to catch the National Day event. After the test drive, I placed an order right away.
[Range and Energy Consumption]
There's a charging pile in my home's underground garage, so I basically don't have range anxiety. Currently, the power consumption in the comfort mode is about 19 kWh per 100 kilometers.
[Assisted Driving]
Currently, there are no problems using NZP on urban expressways and highways, and I've basically never had to take over the control. The automatic parking function is extremely useful, and there have been no issues in regular parking spaces so far. I've never received the push for the commuting mode that was supposed to be rolled out by the end of October.
[Interior]
The interior has a much stronger sense of luxury compared to cars in the same class. However, many parts get dirty easily, so I've pasted a lot of protective films. I'm not sure if I'm just wasting money.
Review B
[Car Purchase Experience] When I first thought about switching to an electric car, I immediately paid attention to the 2024 ZEEKR 001. It has a stunning appearance and top - notch internal luxury configurations. The only drawback was that it used Mobileye's intelligent driving solution at that time, with a computing power of 48 TOPS. In today's electric vehicle market, this, being a crucial aspect, dampened my desire to buy. Finally, in August, the 2025 ZEEKR 001 was launched. The intelligent driving solution was changed, and the computing power reached the mainstream level, instantly making up for the shortcoming. Then I compared it with the ZHIJIE R7 and the Li L6, and finally decided to place an order for the 2025 ZEEKR 001 WE100 after comprehensive consideration.
[Appearance and Interior] My previous car was a small one, and I always wanted to switch to a large - space SUV. However, I test - drove several pure - electric SUVs, and their driving experiences were just average. Then I noticed the ZEEKR 001. Its appearance is amazing, and the special "toad - head" shape is so distinctive that it can be recognized at a glance. The seating space is large enough, and the trunk is not much smaller than that of an SUV. Moreover, the driving experience is really good. It was like a seamless transition when I switched to it. I was hooked after just one test drive! The seats are made of genuine leather, and the interior is wrapped in soft materials everywhere. The suede - leather roof gives it a high - quality feel! Especially the ambient lights, which greatly enhance the overall in - car atmosphere at night. I'm very satisfied after using it for more than half a month. The only shortcoming is that the headroom in the middle of the rear row is small. If an adult sits there, their head will almost touch the roof.
[Power Performance] It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just over five seconds. The power comes on instantly without the jerks of a traditional gasoline car. Overtaking is effortless. Although the car weighs more than two tons, it is still nimble when changing lanes, providing a great driving experience.
[Intelligence] After changing the intelligent driving solution and the chip, computing power is no longer a shortcoming of the 001. The in - car system runs smoothly, and I haven't encountered any situations like system crashes so far. However, the intelligent driving still needs improvement. I heard that a new version of the system will be upgraded on the 25th, and map - less intelligent driving is coming! There are several deficiencies. First, the mobile phone Bluetooth key is not sensitive enough. Sometimes, when I get close to the car, it doesn't respond, and I have to unlock it through the app. But after adding the car key to the wallet key in the mobile phone, it becomes much more sensitive. Second, there is no wireless charging function for the mobile phone, but when I put the phone in the wireless charging position, it always wakes up the phone's NFC. Third, the number of compatible software needs to be increased, and the running speed of software in the ZEEKR Ecosystem needs to be improved.
[Range] The official range is 750 km. After picking up the car, I've been driving in the city. The temperature in Shenzhen is now suitable, ranging from 14 to 22 degrees Celsius. I set the energy recovery to low and the driving mode to comfort. When the battery dropped from 90% to 30%, the current energy consumption is about 14.9 kWh/100 km. The range performance is relatively stable, which can meet the needs of daily commuting and weekend outings. I don't drive aggressively. I usually play music while driving and turn on the seat massage in the last ten minutes. I used 60% of the battery to drive 362 km. Calculated, it can run about 600 km in urban commuting with a full - charged battery. The energy consumption is quite satisfactory.
Review C
Maybe I switched from a fuel-powered car. I'd driven a Ford Focus for 13 years before replacing it with the ZEEKR 001. Instantly, I was overwhelmed by its superiority in both power and interior. The power is always at your command as soon as you step on the accelerator. The in - car intelligence far outshines that of the Focus. With the large central control screen, I no longer need to use my phone for navigation. However, to be honest, after driving this heavier car, I find the chassis performance is similar to that of the Focus. I haven't felt the advantages of the aluminum alloy chassis and double wishbone suspension. After 15 days of use, I've encountered a few issues. Firstly, the car mistook the ZEEKR bear on the front - passenger seat for a pet, and I couldn't turn off the power when leaving the car. Secondly, when I gently stepped on the brakes, the seat adjustment stopped halfway. Keep the OTA updates coming! Hahaha. [Charging time] It took about 30 minutes to charge from 29% to 92%. To be honest, it's quite annoying that some parking spaces are occupied by other vehicles. [Range] The energy consumption is 16.6 kWh per 100 km. A full charge can get me about 600 km, which should be sufficient for daily city commuting and occasional short - distance road trips.
